Taj Mahal is the beer for the serious connoisseur. The label on the bottle depicts the heavenly beauty of its namesake. As is appropriate, Taj Mahal is brewed from only the finest water, grain, hops and yeast. It is a delicious and refreshing drink to the utmost! A cool, tall, six hundred and fifty milliliter bottle of Taj Mahal is the best way to refresh after a long day of work… or with a particularly spicy meal. Taj Mahal is as monumental among the beers of the world as its namesake is to the country of India.

Appearance: Medium golden-orange in color, with a small, off-white head, which soon fades to a scattering of foam. Fine-beaded, patchy lacing adorns the glass walls. The carbonation is slight and slow-rising.
Aroma: Somewhat cider-like aroma, with notes of cooked vegetables, and grain. An undertone of earthy and grassy hops notes are present as well.
Taste: Opens rather dry and a bit tannic, the taste could almost be described as dusty. As the taste progresses, some herbal and medicinal hops assert themselves. Faint hints of apple ring are present as well. These dominate the taste, with mildly toasted malt seemingly a mere afterthought. Finishes with a lingering, mild herbal bitterness, a bit of toasted malt, and a faint sweetness.
Mouth feel: Thin, with slight stinging carbonation.
Drinkability/notes: This beer seems to be crafted for an oppressively hot climate. With its light body and low alcoholic content, it might well be a fine "lawnmower"beer, this from someone reviewing in early winter.
Presentation: Packaged in a Euro-style twenty-two ounce (650 ml) brown glass bomber with a pry-off crown, served in a New Belgium Brewing chalice.

First Indian beer, gift from my well intended brother in law who knows I like craft beers …I appreciate the attempt
Clear golden liquid , occasional carbonation streams , three finger frothy white foam crown, spotty lacings
Aroma is faint grains
Taste is beer flavored water
Clean crisp mouthfeel
Lawn mower beer on a hot summer day , the brewers notes are definite hyperbole from Hydrrbad
Nice beer

Not so bad as the avg score here would imply. Decent balanced flavors and nice malt presence. Totally inoffensive to my tastes, and only complaint being that it's a bit thin and watery. Otherwise, glad I tried this one.

United Breweries Taj Mahal Premium Lager, 4.5% ABV. Pours clear yellow with a 3-finger off-white head that left some lacing. Nose is malty. Taste follows, some grain, light hop bitterness. Decent mouthfeel, if a bit over-carbonated. Overall very good.

L: Pours pale straw yellow with a small white head and no lacing on the glass.
S: Fresh toasted grain, mixes with a sweet cereal malt and light hop.
T: Sweet cereal malt, and some toasted grain and a light hop. Definitely tastes like a light lager.
F: Light and crisp
O: Definitely trending on the cheaper side but still decent.
