Pours a clear golden amber with a thin white head. Smells slightly of honey and a bit of grain. Taste initially begins with some honey flavor, then some sweet wheat, and a touch of earthy, nuttiness in the finish. Mouthfeel is average. Overall a decent beer.

On tap at the brewery in Estes Park, CO. Pours clear-golden with white, short lived head and soda-like carbonation. Aroma is biscuit malt, honey and hint of hops. Body is medium and smooth. Taste is sweet honey, pale malt and slight hints of hops. Finish is short and sweet. Forgettable brew.

Poured into a standard pint glass.

The beer is a quite solid light honey color, appropriately. A fizzy white head disappears quickly leaving only the faintest wisp of anything on top. Little or no lacing exists.

Smells of honey, wheat, cereal grains.

The beer tastes of sweet honey and subtle malts at first. There's a faint cherry note coming through in the finish. Cereal grains round out the body.

Mouthfeel is very carbonated and dry.

Overall, I think I enjoyed this when I first started drinking it. I think in the long run, it's a bit too carbonated, but I do not regret going through a sixer either.

12 fl oz brown glass bottle served in a weizen glass, reviewed live:

A - Pours a semi-transparent honey golden color with absolutely no discernible head, even after an aggressive pour. To say it's unappealing is an understatement.

S - Stale cereal grain, understated honey, and some very light floral notes. Mild strength, pleasant, but boring.

T - Though it's entirely too mild, I do like the honey flavor its got. Really, that is the only flavor however. It's watery, simple, and built haphazardly.

M - Flat, watery, and completely wrong.

D - My first beer from the brewery, and it definitely doesn't excite me to try more. A pretty poor one.

i liked this one a lot. the clover honey flavor is more prominent than any other honey wheat brew ive come across. its not sweet, just rather floral and flavorful. the honey and the wheat malts compliment eachother perfectly in my opinion, and this one feels like a well crafted ale. mouthfeel is good too, light and crisp and really sessionable. itd be a great summer beer, but it also works well all year round. curious to try more estes park brews!

The color is a hazy dark orange. Barely a head on top, white and soapy looking. . .

Smell is almost nonexistent , some peach a slight honey lilt to it thats it.

Tastes of dust and unnameable grains, obviously wheat but you can't decipher that. Honey is definitely there in spirit, mimicking the aroma but without too much actual presence.

Mouth feel is wet and light carbonation like soda

I would not recommend this to anyone, it is boring and while not off-putting, it brings nothing to the table at least I only got one in a make your own sixer

Nothing earth shattering to report here. Bland wheat beer infused with honey. And good honey it is. As someone said, it doesn't quite taste that much like beer.

Drinkable enough for what it is trying to be, but nothing I would really want to do again.

Poured into a Weizen glass. Honey color. Average carbonation. A little head, but it disappears quickly without a trace. Strong honey smell, with some malts as well. The smell is quite nice. Unfortunately, the taste is not as nice. Tastes like a wheat beer brewed with honey flavoring, which is what you'd expect. But it's really a flat and uninspiring flavor. It leaves a thin coating on the tongue. The mouthfeel is about as dead as a beer could be. There is just no zest to it. I suppose you could have a few of them if you wanted. It is not appalling, just unappealing.

Light citrus aroma over a thin white head. Pale blonde color with a clear body. Very mild flavor and mouthfeel, but very lively and well carbonated. Light watery body with very slight hints of honey. Finish tails off very quickly with few subtle flavors.

Presentation: 12 oz longneck, label has a large bee, and very little information (no abv, or date, but it does have the elevation?).

Appearance: Yellow with just a bit of haze, thin head fades quickly.

Smell: Not much, a bit of sweetness, and maybe a tiny hint of wheat.

Taste: Very soft mouthfeel, taste is a bit of clover honey, wheat. Doesn't start out sweet, but by the end of the beer its a bit cloying.

Overall impression: Meh - I'm not a fan of honey beers, or Estes Park Brewery's beers .. so this is about what I expected. Its not horrible, but I'd have a hard time getting through a six pack.

A: Hazy gold color. Poured a 2 finger coarse white head that dissipated. Inconsistent lacing washed down the glass.

S: Sweet honey and light clove spices. Faint wheat malt.

T: Strong, slightly cloying honey flavor. Wheat malt well in the background.

M: Medium body. Balanced carbonation. Fairly crisp and smooth.

D: Easy to drink. The sweetness may wear on me, but seems fairly well balanced - thought still sweet).

A - This is one ugly mug-fug. It pours a murky dull orange that seems almost gray at times. There is absolutely no head, and only the faintest ring of bubbles forms a micro-collar around the glass. It does look somewhat like honey though, so I'll give it that. It just looks thick and nasty though.

S - Clove honey is here in abundance. This pretty much smells like honey and not a whole lot else. Reminds me of honey and a dab of butter on those biscuits that come in a tube. Not bad, not bad. It's making me hungry!

T - Sweet clove honey with a touch of very delicate floral notes and a big time diacetyl butter flavor. Three big notes here... honey is the major player, and toast and butter provide accompaniment. Not bad... doesn't taste a damn thing like beer, but it's not bad.

M - Thickish and dull. Very little carbonation. Nothing on the finish but more warm butter and honey.

D - This is fun to try as a novelty, like a sarsaparilla root beer at a civil war reenactment, or meat-on-a-stick at the state fair. Nothing to offend here, except maybe the dull color and complete lack of head, but nothing other than a boatload of sweet honey to entice the palate.

A - Poured out a somewhat cloudy, orange/yellow color with a fizzy, small, white head. No lace.

S - It smelled of sweet clove honey and some faint notes of wheat.

T - It tasted very sweet and full of honey. It really was a strong honey taste. Wheat flavors were muted.

M - It was relatively crisp and smooth. A light-bodied beer.

D - I've had several beers with "honey" in the name and this one truly tasted like honey. No others come close. Overall, it was worth a try but not something I'd frequent.
