My label matches this one, but I couldn't find "Turkey" or "Brasil" anywhere on the package. This is a weird brand, it seems to be made and marketed around the world. A friend from Brasil shared this with me, said this was the most popular beer there...
Pour is a pale gold, dull foam with a fizzyness. Head is gone in less than a minute. Smell is papery and malty, maybe vegetable too.
Taste is bland, a little bit of sweet malt is there. It has such a watery feel, and an aftertaste that seems to hang in the back of the throat. I finished the bottle as a courtesy to my friend, but wouldn't seek this out on my own.

Appearance: Yellow, lots of bubbles, rocky head.
Smell: Corny, mild seltzer.
Taste: Grain, corn, mild sweetness. A hint of bitterness.
Drinkabilty: Easily drinkable, hot weather beer.
Another cheapo beer from the 7-11 in Hong Kong. I thought this could be bad since it was the cheapest in the fridge, but it's not bad. Seemingly every beer is corny and sweet here in China.

Got this single 330mL bottle at Manchester Wine and Liquors, Manchester CT, for $1.33. Date stampled on the label is 06.10.2006, so this could be quite old (preparing for skunk). Served cold in a chilled pint glass.
Clear deep yellow brew generates a half inch of bubbly foam that settles quickly to just a spotty layer. Mild aroma of clean semi-sweet pale malt and a tiny bit of soft lemon hop. Taste follows from the smell with a little fruity aspect to the sweetness. It's an awkward level of taste, too little to make it worthwhile and just barely enough to keep it from being completely flat. Feel is thin with a soft fizzy carbonation, watery.

SKOL lager beer is a yellow color with a one finger white head that dissipates into a collar.
The aroma is that sweet grain lager smell, no sign of the dreaded skunk anywhere.
The taste follows the aroma with the grainy sweet, but in addition, it has a light lime citrus presence.
The mouth feel is light bodied and minimal carbonation.
Drinkability, like most acceptable tasting lagers, is very good.
Absolutely nothing wrong with this lager, except that it's a lager and not a big hop or malt bomb.

Poured from a brown 11.2 oz. bottle. Has a rich golden color with a small head. Smells mostly of malts, some hops. Taste is crisp, a bit of hops, not overly flavorful. Feels light in the mouth and has decent drinkability. Overall not a bad brew, but nothing great.

Clear pissy looking yellow with a puny white head that shrinks to a skim almost immediately after pouring into the glass. The nose is sweet barley and grass with a pronounced mineraly quality. This beer is just not very good. Light cooked corn with a healthy dose of brown paper bag. Watery is the best description I can give the mouthfeel on this one. Don't bother with Skol, it stinks.

11.2 ounce bottle. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a clear straw gold color with a half-inch white head. Head retention and lacing are both average. It smells like sweet malt and grain. No hops that I can notice. The taste is the same as the aroma, but it has a slight bittersweet finish. With that being said, there aren't any offensive aromas or tastes at all. Mouthfeel/body is light and thin, but not bad. Drinkability is OK, it's not hard to drink. For the style, it's pretty much an average all-around beer. It's not bad, but not exactly good either. I've certainly had worse.

A - Crystal clear pale yellow with a fizzy 1/2 inch head that fizzles down to nothing within a few seconds. Very little soapy flimsy lace sticks to the glass. Looks like any old American macro pisswasser.
S - Happily, this has a more interesting nose than the appearance would suggest. It's definitely basic, but it's firmly within the parameters of the style, and I would most likely peg it as such in a blind sniff test. Mild caramel sweet notes, with gentle floral hops and a adjunct-y notes that gives the style away.
T - Not too bad! Sweet caramel and vanilla, with mildly floral hops that add just enough bitterness to even out the sweetness. This isn't complex in any way, but it sure is tasty!
M - Light bodied, but far from watery. This is highly carbonated, refreshing, and thirst quenching. The finish is neutral with lingering notes of vanilla bean.
D - This is a damn fine "sweltering heat" thirst quencher that beats all of the Mexi-lagers at their own game. Come to think of it, Turkey is warm and lined with sandy resort beaches just like Mexico. Is Turkey the Caribbean of Europe? If so, this is the perfect brew for a long lazy day at a Turkish beach!

There was a 6 pack of this on clearance for $2.99 so I figured I'd give it a whirl.
I see why it was on clearance.. a very bland, macro tasting beer. No head, no lacing, and pours a light golden color. Some bubbles are seen making their way to the top but not much. Taste is of European hops (slightly) and corn and/or rice flavors. Has a weird aftertaste and it's almost tough to swallow. Looks like the 5 other beers will stink around in the fridge for any of my friends who want a beer.

Pours a clear golden yellow with a foamy white head. Some head retention and slight lacing. Moderately carbonated.
Grainy smell with a slight hop accent. Sweeter malt characteristics.
Not much flavor. Very slight hop flavor at the end. Watery.
Feels highly carbonated in the mouth. Goes down easily.
Could easily consume several, but nothing remarkable.
Also looked at the date on the bottle - 09.02.2007 - Imagine that's February of 2007.

A - Poured out a highly carboanted, clear, yellow color with a very foamy, two-finger, white head. No lace.
S - It smelled of tons of corn and some grains. Also, a little yeast aroma.
T - It was slightly bittersweet and tasted of corn.
M - It was a little thin and very light bodied.
D - There is nothing particularly disagreeable about this beer, but there is nothing especailly good about it.

Medium golden with a thin patch of off-white foam, no real lacing discernible. Corn malt but little else is on the nose. I can't say that I'm surprised, honestly. Mild and sweet grassy malt carries the taste which, like the texture, is rather thin. Not offensive, just not impressive. At least it's smooth and OK cold. But this is like to many macros--thin, sweet corn malt, little else. Why bother.
Subpar, and one to avoid.

A clear hay yellow wih small and very sluggish bubbles rising to the top of the glass. The aroma is oflight pils and pale malts melding into a grassy adjunct with just a touch of tin. The taste is a light dry malt with some metallic notes ligering here and there. A little hard going down on some swallows, but still refreshes a little.

this beer is very odd. most reviews have described it as having a grassy or corny taste. i felt like the few bottles i had tasted like raisins or prunes, or maybe even currant. i was told by the provider that this was a turkish beer which was the second most popular beer in brasil. i cant believe this is a popular beer, but it sure is formidable at any rate. the kid who provided me a afew also said they were going for 9.99 for a case, 20.00 + change for 2 cases, thats right. so i gues what im saying is for economy (poor college kids) this is an acceptable choice, but man, caveat emptor.

Received in a beer gift pack with a bunch of other good quality micros.
Appearance: pours a clear pale yellow color with a one finger bright white head. The head falls apart quickly. No lacing develops.
Smell: barely any aroma here, as only a bit of grassiness comes through.
Taste: very light malt base, grass, corn, and an overcooked vegetable flavor. Bitterness is non-existant.
Mouthfeel: lightly crisp throughout. Clean aftertaste. Light in body.
Drinkability: not a good beer at all, and the beer was not old or bad. I could not finish the glass. I would avoid this.

A - Poured a clear straw color with a thin white head
S - Is corny much like a macro
T - Well it tastes not so good nasty grainy corny
M - almost zero carbonation
D - I thought I'd try the new beer at the beer store that I've never seen or heard of but that was a bad choice. I go to this store at least once a week and Friday was the first time that I saw this beer. The label says 09-02-2007 I'm not sure if this is a born on date or a drink buy date. If its a drink by date the importers need to get their shit straight because this stuff isn't too good maybe if they get it here quicker it won't be as nasty.

Poured a medium straw hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was some retention and little lacing.
The smell featured a light husky malt with a pie crust like element.
The flavor featured a soft grain with subtle blueberry type ester.
The mouthfeel was light and astringent toward the finish.
Overall an uneventful experience. Easy enough to drink, but one really wouldn't be motivated to do so.

Poured pale golden with a decent fluffy head that faded very quickly to nothing. The smell was thin, slightly sour, and vegetal. Not nice. Taste was similar, but with an added metallic dimension and maybe slightly less flavor of cooked broccolli. Mouthfeel is very thin, but otherwise okay. Not very good. Not a lot going on, and what is going on you wish would quit. I didn't finish the bottle.

This beer was dated 05-10-2006. Not sure if it is the European dating meaning October 5, or American dating meaning May 10... either way it's past date.
This beer was a pale yellow beer, that had a fast, fizzy head that died away nearly completely. It was not impressive.
Aroma was of rotting corn with a mild skunkiness. Not good at all.
Taste was slightly bitter, and all I could taste was corn and grains. No malt, barely any hops. Lackluster.
Mouthfeel was thin and watery.
Drinkability was not good. After the initial tasting, I didn't really want it any more, so I drank it quickly. I wouldn't get another.
