12oz bottle bottled 9/30/11.

Pors a hazy orangish amber with a small beige he'd that recedes to a tiny collar leaving no lacing.

Aroma is a combination of juicy citrus, oranges and pineapples, and sweet caramel malts. Also has a green herbal note.

Taste is a tad sweeter than the aroma with some caramel malts and light toastiness. The finish is bitter with some citrus but also with a hint of herbal flavors.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied with light carbonation.

This is a solid IPA but probably not my favorite in the series. The bitterness in the taste is a little too metallic with less hop flavors than I was hoping for.

A- Pours a dark orange. Head is one finger and leaves pretty good lacing.
S- The C hops they used (columbus and cascade) really come through on the nose. Grapefruit and pine. They also used Nugget and Galaxy hops, for the record.
T- Really ripe grapefruit flavor. There is a pine resin quality to it as well. Good hop punch without being too bitter.
M- Slightly resinous, but it finishes a bit too light. Medium-high carb.
O- The Hop Projects have been really hit or miss in my experience. This was a definite hit. I would love to see this one stick around full time.
