I poured this beer into my tumbler at 45 degrees. The beer poured a normal lager looking golden color nothing special. The beer had a poor head and I was not looking forward to much. The beer also stunk, smelled sour. HOWEVER, the beer was not sour tasting and was quite wonderful. Nothing special like I said but very drinkable. I like it and would buy it again with its slightly grassy clean taste.

A: Pours a nice golden color with a slight tan head.
S: Aroma is malty and light fruity zest in there.
T: Taste is of some lightly sour fruit malts , very pleasant and refreshing.
M: Mouthfeel is light to medium with very little carbonation .
O: Overall an all around decent beer from a relatively new brewery , Yazoo, who I did like some of their other offerings. Good growing beer hopefully one day big enough to be all the way up north here in PA.

Absolutely wonderful after a long day at work, refreshing and light. However, without a good days work before hand I found the beer to be lacking and almost a different experience. Very little to no head when poured from a bottle. I live in Buffalo so get a lot of exposure to Canadian and American lagers, and this was better than most easily attainable North American Lagers.

Appearance: Pours a dark golden color with a fizzy white head that leaves leaves so fast it doesn't even remember the definition of lacing.
Smell: Sweet and malty.
Taste: Very sweet and malty with a rum type flavor.
Overall: The beer is way too sweet and I really don't like the rum flavor.

Small white head dies into a nice lacing above a clear golden colored beer.
Aroma is sour grain malts with a little breadiness and maybe a little hops adding to the sourness.
A lighter bodied beer with a pretty big taste with a lot of sour grain malts, corn syrupiness, and some hops to a lesser degree.
A slightly dry aftertaste that brings with it some slight sourness.
When i first saw this in the glass I thought "Yippee, another Budweiser wannabee", but this beer had a lot more tastes coming through, I could drink a few of these.

a clean amber/gold pour with a finger of head throughout. smells yeasty, a slight lemon zest, reminds me of yeungling. tastes just like it smells... definitely tastes like yeungling. not much else to say really. light bodied, crisp, and refreshing.
overall, a decent lager. very much like yeungling, in pretty much every aspect.. except a bit more refreshing and lighter in color.

A- Golden yellow with a half inch head. Retention is so-so. Very clear.
S- Grain, a bit of grass, and a touch of bread dough to it.
T- Fairly sweet up front, being a bready sweetness. There is a grassy character in the finish. Minimal bitterness to it.
M- Crisp. Carbonation was a bit high. Body was appropriate for style.
O- It's an ok beer and an easy drinking one while out at a music bar, but not something that I need to repurchase for at home.

This was brought to me by my mother in law who was on a quest to find me a beer exclusively distributed in Tennessee. Boy did she hit a home run! First of all the stats are all wrong. It is a pale American lager and the ABV clearly states on the bottle 6.5%, but enough semantics.
Appearance: pours a healthy, bright straw hue with a sizzling head.
Smell: sweetened cereal grains and raw bread dough.
Taste: musty hops provide a nice hug of bitterness behind a strong maltiness. Very easy drinking and sessionable.
A very fine beer from Hap Motlow who brings a fine a whiskey.

This has become my favorite when I am in the mood for a pale lager.
Miscategorized as a red/amber lager. This is definitely a pale lager. Color is straw yellow with solid carb, a finger head that dissipates, and decent lacing.
All-grain, so it's got a bit more body than the average corn/rice pale. Hopped with Pearle and Saaz. A bit of bitter and a nice hop flavor. Decent mouthfeel, aroma and flavor pretty basic. Not overly complex, but it's a nice pale lager.

Beer pours a nice dark, but clear yellow color. A slight amount of bubbly head, but not much.
Beer smells of straw and slightly bready.
Beer tastes very crisp. Slight grassy and corn tastes.
Mouthfell is fairly light and very drinkable. Good sessionable lager

Straw yellow with very visible carbonation. Nice centimeter of head. Some lacing as this goes down.
Lots of straw in the nose.
Clean taste with a slightly bready character. Some sweet notes and more light grainy characters with some earthy bits. Some spice from the hops but fairly mellow.
All in all it's an easy drinking lager. I wouldn't have guessed light lager but the malt characters were on the lighter side. Not so much watered down as it was lighter in malt characters and hops.
Solid and refreshing but nothing too interesting either.

Somewhere between a miller light and Yeungling. Its typical look of an American lager, a medium copper, clear and with medium foam that fades fast. Sweet caramel smells, grassy hints of hops and sweet corn. The taste is a bit watery with corn, and caramel malt in the middle and a low hop background of earthy, grassy hints. Light, refreshing, crisp, clean and easy to drink. Pretty typical and boring. I wonder if it is an attempt to appeal to the commerical crowd?
