Notes:
A new version of an American classic. Our Yazoo Pale Ale bursts with spicy, citrusy hop aroma and flavor, coming from the newly discovered Amarillo hop. The wonderful hop aroma is balanced nicely with a toasty malt body, ending with a cleansing hop finish. Made with English Pale, Munich, Vienna, and Crystal malts, and generously hopped with Amarillo, Perle, and Cascade hops. Fermented with our English ale yeast.

Lightly hazed dark gold body, small white head that dissipates rather quickly and leaves little wisps of lace on the glass. Aroma of mostly floral hops, with some lesser citrus notes, and a good deal of bready malt.
The flavor is very well balanced but approaches blandness. Again the hops are mostly floral in nature with lesser earthy and pine notes but could stand to be amped up a bit, at least to my taste. Prominent toasted bread malt flavor with moderate caramel sweetness. Restrained bitterness and a short finish revealing a late emerging honey-like note.
Medium body and carbonation. Crisp and acceptably clean drinking. Not bad but nothing particularly exceptional about this either, although I could see this having wide appeal with borderline craft drinkers in the manner of Fat Tire and similar beers.

Was at Opryland Hotel in Nashville for a week long conference. Tried this the first night and really enjoyed it. First night I had it with Shrimp & Grits - nice combination. Second night I had it a couple of hours after dinner - worked very well alone. Later in the week I had it with Ribs - also good combination
Poured from bottle into glass had a perfect head. Really liked the taste of the Amarillo Hops along with the citrussy flavors.
Now hoping to find somewhere to buy it locally.

Came in a standard pint glass a clear lighter amber with a tinge of burnt orange,a half finger white head atop.Aromas of biscuit malt and fruity/grassy hops, the biscuit malt wins out over the hops.To me the flavors are like an ESB,a big mildly sweet bready malt base with a smattering of fruity hops in the finish, not bitter hops just a fruity lightly herbal component. Not bad but don't expect a big hopped up APA,again more like an American ESB.

A - Pours a deep amber gold with a thin white head that disaptes rather quickly
S - Very malty, bready semlling with a slightly grassy smell. There are light hints of hops as well
T - Nice hop flavors upfront for an APA. The hops are balanced well against the malts.
M - Light to Medium bodied with lots of bubbles and a somewhat creamy feel
O - I very enjoyable APA. The hops makes it presence known but they arent over powering and are balanced quite nicely with big malt flavors. I really liked this beer.
