A - Black as pitch and completely opaque, nice fluffy tan head.
S - Scents of espresso and coffee with dark chocolate.
T - Lots of dark roasted maltiness bring the sweet and bitter of dark chocoloate up front with the sweet dark berries, like cranberry and raspberry. most flavours emerge in the lingering aftertaste and tends towards bitterness at the end, especially when it is warm.
M - Very thick and mouth-coating, creamy and nice. Very much like a creamy cup of espresso mixed with a thick craft hot chocolate.
D - It is too heavy to drink very much of, but a pint can be enjoyed quite thoroughly.

12oz bottle poured into a tulip pint glass at fridge temp 4.9% ABV. The beer pours dense black with light brown head. The head recedes to a thin ring and single layer of tiny bubbles. The aroma is mild with sweet and roasty notes. The taste is bittersweet roasted malt with mild lactose sweetness, a hint of acidulated malt and dark chocolate roasted malt. Mild bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium plus bodied with just less that average carbonation and a semi dry finish. Overall, very good. A simple and well executed beer.

12oz bottle
now brewed in Florida
L: near black body, foamy khaki head
S: chocolate milk, roasted barley
T: chocolate, lactose, roasted barley, vanilla, mild earthy hops
F: medium body, super smooth, balanced yet slightly sweet finish
O: it’s been over a decade since I’ve even Seen this anywhere. I know it’s brewed by another brewer now, but still fun to come back to after all these years

Poured black with a dark tan head that lingered and had medium lacing.
Tastes of charred roasted malts right up front with some coffee/chocolate with some lactose sweetness mixed in. Nice.

Midnight black pour with to fingers of brown foam. Smells of chocolate sauce, light coffee, caramel, and light earth. Taste follows with more malt depth, finish has decent roast. Feel is lighter bodied, malty, and smooth, but finish is not super clean. Classic milk stout

Pitch black dark in appearance. Bold complex flavors of coffee, mild hint of chocolate, and spice. Slightly bitter after taste. Seems to go down better with food rather than on an empty stomach (Maybe I'm just getting old :) )
