Seeing as it is virtually the only nightlife in Brussels, it's packed at night with a young crowd. If you're going to relax and thumb through the beers, go during the day.
The upstairs is more of a lounge with a bunch of random somewhat tacky beer memorabilia. It was like being at a TGIF's. The downstairs is where you have to go for all their beers not on tap, and it was more packed than a nightclub.
Service was good, what you'd expect from this type of touristy bar.
If you're in town, you've gotta go...it's Delirium. Just either go during the day or at night, depending what you're looking for.

Good prices for the quality of the beer. They had lots of lots of interesting Belgian beers, many of which you can't get in the states. Mostly a younger crowd. The service is at the bar only and is a little slow even when the bar isn't crowded. We were there on a Thursday afternoon and it wasn't necessarily busy, but was busier than we would have expected. Overall a good experience and we would go back.

I highly recomend chosing DTcafe for your beer venue in Brussells. My favorite location to date in Europe. Please revisit it. In four days I enjoyed it seven times. The staff accomodates all visitors with a profound expression of Belgian hospitality. I suggest three days of draft ale upstairs with four nights of bottle service down stairs. Respectfully yours. Repeat frequently. Buy a catalog for 6 euro to remind you what should be a life quest of ale.

A little tucked away, but upon discovery, plenty of room to move about, mingle and sample the vast selection, with multiple floors and completely different vibes depending on your current mood. Bartenders a extremely knowledgeable, and the patrons were diverse and very hospitable.

Had to make the visit to Delirium Cafe while in Brussels. Got there in the late afternoon and wasn't overly busy. A lot of people outside and in the cellar but no one in the main part of the bar. Tap list was pretty boring. Also, no descriptions or organization of the beer. Found a sticky menu on the bar that had color pages for each beer on tap, but seemed more like an advertisement than a description of the beer.
Downstairs in the cellar, they had a lot of bottled beer, but it didn't seem like they had as much as they advertised.
Service was non-existent. You order a beer from the bar and that's it. Seemed like they were just slinging beers even though they weren't even remarkably busy. Didn't seem like anyone actually wanted to talk about beer.
I just went with a Tremens for a remarkably cheap 3.30 euro.
Bottom line: glad I went but I probably won't return.
