Beer was part of a Heavy Seas 12pk variety case. This was the "mystery" beer included.
Pour and enjoyed in a DFH Pint glass
A - Beer pours a mostly translucent, golden honey color. A two finger, fizzy head on the initial pour. A small amount of lacing.
S - Slightly earthy, grassy smell.
T- A no-nonsense, easy to drink, ale. A slightly malty, slightly grassy taste. A hint of lemon is also noticeable. The alcohol is not noticeable at all.
M - Well carbonated. Thinnish consistency.
O - A beer that is really easy to drink which is great for a summer-style brew. You could easily down a few of these in an afternoon or evening without feeling filled up. A nice beer to offer those who aren't into anything really radical. Good quality but nothing fantastic.
Cheers!

A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that died down leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: There are light to moderate aromas of biscuit malts along with hints of floral hops.
T: The taste has flavors of biscuit malts along with hints of fruity yeast and a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels a bit shy of medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is a very malt-forward blonde ale but has a nice amount of balance with the hops to keep this from being too malty and still making it very drinkable.

Served from bottle into a Duck-Rabbit nonic. Poured a pale golden yellow with a half finger white head that subsided to a minimal amount very quickly. Maintained nice lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, grain, spice, and corn. The flavor was of sweet malt, grain, wheat, spice, and very subtle floral. It had a light feel on the palate with medium carbonation. Overall this was an average brew. Not really a lot going on in this one if I am completely honest. It really kind of reminded me of a pepped up BMC brew. Granted it did have a few other notes going on that kept it in the average range of the style though. The floral note was a nice touch, but I just wish that there would have been A LOT more of than there was. I could see myself having a few of these on a long day of drinking without too much of a problem or while sitting by the pool. Worth trying at least once, but I wouldn’t go out of your way to do so.

On tap at World of Beer Raleigh.
A - pure gold with no head
S - faint cereal grains and a bit sweet
T - grapefruit, faint orange peel, cereal grains
M - light to medium bodied, smooth
This is a nice, easily drinkable beer. It has its subtleties, but mostly it's enjoyable for it's drinkability. I probably won't buy this again, but it's not bad once.

Poured from 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Bottle says best by December 2012.
Appearance: nice golden hue with a haze-free body and a finger of pillowy white foam. Effervescence is sadly quite minimal.
Smell: lightly sweet malt aroma which is nice, but creeping around the edges is the unfortunate aroma of damp, spent grain. Not bad, but it could be cleaner. The lightness of this style exposes flaws pretty starkly.
Taste: light malt with a subtle and fruity hop character. It's not bad at all, but it is a little bit on the bland side. Luckily, the wet grain from the aroma doesn't come through as strongly in the flavor.
Mouthfeel: lightish body with a low level of carbonation and a moderately interesting prickliness on the tongue. Not really creamy at all; I think this beer would benefit from a little more carbonation to make it a nice refreshing summer quaff.
Overall: all of the above having been said, this is a nice, light, refreshing drink. Sure, it could be improved, but I think this beer succeeds as a session summer ale. I probably wouldn't hesitate to quaff a truckload of this at a barbecue, straight from the bottle.

Pours a pale straw color, very much like a macro. The pure white head is short and quickly settles into a light ring. Plenty of carbonation bubbles racing to the top.
The aroma is of pale malt, with a touch of grain. There is a slight peppery hop note. Not much else.
The taste is sweet. A light pale malt provides some bready notes and a honey sweetness. Very soft toffee note and general fruitiness. The hops are grassy and peppery. Not very strong but enough to balance the sweetness.
The feel is moderate with fizzy carbonation. Sweet on the palate but finishes with a slight bitterness. Good balance.
Good alternative to a macrol lager. No real off flavors, good summer brew.

A: Poured a bright golden-rod, neat clarity with a washy concrete white head that was slight and stingy on the lacing. A light to moderate rise of effervesce is seen within.
A: An aroma of soft lemony flavor, malt was clean, level was low, simple.
T: Flavor was lemony as well, nicely bitter for a summer but light enough not to get weighed down with. Flowery orange hopping.
M: Medium body, smooth, slick with a quiet carbonation factor. Relaxing and smooth off the tongue with a gentle flowery bitterness.
O: Overall a decent amount of bitterness, a bit full malt wise for continous summer session drinking, decently hopped, but not something i could do much off as a backyard downer, 2-3 would be fine. The flavor overall is not that bad which if you arent out to judge by the other factors (i.e. visual, aroma,) but overall per style there are much better representations around if your picky.

Poured a pale brass hue with a half fing foamy white head. There was decent retention and lacing.
The smell featured grassy hops atop a crisp and slightly aromatic pale malt.
The flavor was clean with bright herbal and grassy hops. The crisp malt may contain a touch of wheat.
The mouthfeel was toward the fuuler end of the style with a clean finish.
Overall a tasty and refreshing summer beer.
