Beautiful classic golden color with a big thick head. Lacing sticks around even after the head has diminished.
There's a strong scent to this one of something dark and sweet. (and I don't usually smell much)
Malt and hops are well balanced, the taste is sweet and bitter.
Very crisp mouthfeel.
Overall I really enjoyed this beer and will be looking out for it through the end of the winter months.

A- Pours a clear golden color with an obvious unfiltered touch to it. There is a pretty nice head to it that goes down to a lacy top.
S- A yeasty fruity smell of apples and peaches. Beautiful light fragrance that reminds me of fall.
T- Wow, this is really fruity and the belgian yeast are very prominent.
M- It is a medium body for it and is a very full belgium. The carbonation is good. There is a heavy alcohol feel that makes me wonder if I wouldn't of been better off aging this for a year and have it next Christmas.

22 ounce bottle - $5.99 at Olde Crabapple Bottle Shoppe in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours out a ever so slightly hazed, dark gold body with a foamy, barely off-white head.
Smell: Spicy, sweetish nose housing notes of Granny Smith apple slices, faux berries, gum, pineapple packed in heavy syrup, and a clearing shot of ethanol.
Taste: Sugar encrusted pale, grainy malts with a big splash of green apple cider. Then, a bit of strawberry gum, peppercorns, and a hit of fairly warming alcohol. Also, some pineapple along with a big rebound of sweetness. Slightly acidic throughout. Sweetish, warm, fruity finish with more of that chewing gum accent riding out leisurely into the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium-plus carbonation.
Overall: Yule Tide falls somewhere between "acceptable" and "okay," which, to be honest, exceeded my expectations.
