Poured from a 12 oz bottle. Says on the label that there's yeast at the bottom, but I didn't see any, looks pretty clear. Pours a slightly hazy light-copper color. Small-ish head that quickly fades to some decent lacing. Smell is amazing. This is probably the best beer I have ever smelled. Lots of hops with a lingering sweetness and a small hint of some type of fruit. Taste is outstanding. Hops hops hops (as the label claims) but still other complexities. There's a bit of that sweetness that's there in the smell. A sweet, dry finish with some hops in there for some good measure. I'm not the best at discribing all the tastes, but this is damn good. Mouthfeel is good and smooth. Drinkability is slightly less than good because of the strength of both the hops and the alcohol, but decent.

I'm really glad that it's not just a knock-your-socks-off hop beer, but something with lots of hop character that still manages to have a lot of other stuff going on. This will become one of my staples.
