I was blown away when I entered this place. I was there on a Sunday during MLK three day weekend.
The bar: The Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas has a small castle look from the outside. Easy to go unnoticed (given the flashy Vegas strip). When entering, this place has really high ceilings and thick columns. The ceilings are decorated with awesome patterns. The seating is picnic tables (which means you can get seated next to strangers (great for socializing)) and a stage for live music.
Beer: they only serve Hofbrauhaus beer which is ok. Three different options (Dark Lager, Regular Lager and Wheat beer). Can be ordered in different size HB steins. I tat pricey but a must!
Food: the food here is awesome. I had some of the best pork here. Also the burgers have a patty that is about 3 inches thick (worth trying). Although a bit pricey, the food is worth it.
Atmosphere: the live band was awesome. They played Polka and had many drinking songs. Although I thought they made the crowd cheer a bit too much, it was still enjoyable. What I thought made this place awesome was the shots! When you order a shot, you get a free SPANK with a wooden paddle. It was great experiencing and hearing other get spanked. Def enjoyable when you are buzzed! You can easily have a small mock German getaway here.
I enjoyed this place cause it was a quick getaway (a few blocks away from Las Vegas Blvd.) from the same type of bars you get at the Vegas Strip.

This is Vegas not Munich, so give them a break. Sure it's phony, and the food is a little pricey. It is still good. There is nothing phony about the quality beer. The Dunkleweizen is excellent. It reminded me of banana bread. This is a fun place to be. I was served by a stunning Argentine girl, who proudly displayed her ample breasts in the best the German beer hall tradition. The loud umpah entertainment is campy and fun! Visit HH. You'll have fun.

I first at here during my bachelor party. I came back with my wife on our 5th anniversary after dinner at Nobu. Nobu was good, but a pretzel at HB will really fill you up.
The first time there I had a tankard of the dunkel. That is a very good beer. This time I had the Oktoberfest. They say that this beer is from the same batch served in Munchen for the festival.
The food is authentic, and the interior is very nostalgic. I really enjoy the fresco ceilings.
I enjoyed the food here both times. I recommend it for your next visit to Vegas. It will probably be the most affordable meal you have on your vacation.

Atmosphere - Everything in Vegas a is fake and this place is no different but I still like it. As you walk in the front door theres a gift store of course and the hostess stand. The hostess will bring you into the beer hall with long communal tables and ompah band or through it to the indoor beer garden that looks like you're outside in a German square.
Quality/Selection - All the beer they serve is Hofbräu so you know your getting some pretty good German beers which is also the downside because they only have three or four choices.
Service - The server during my visit was friendly and quick with getting us beer.
Food - I ordered one of the sausage plates and it was pretty bad ass definitely worth getting.
This place fits in so well with Vegas and the food and beer are good that theres no reason not to come here while in Vegas.

Awesome place whenever I go visit Las Vegas. I was here on my bachelor's night too. I was there when David Hoffman came out to sing a song and say hey. Enormous biergarten and large inside with palate painted ceilings, gift shop, and bar area even for those who wait outside the large dining hall. Fun wait staff especially if they are vuluporous! ;) Everyone is so invested with what's going on around them - sing alongs, get up and stand on their benches and hoist their 1L steins and go a'marchin to the oompah bands playing. Waitresses spank their patrons after he/she downs a shot for a small fee too. Food is just okay - I don't come here to drink anyway. Pretzels aren't too shabby but the meat entrees - I'd rather grill em myself. Beer selections are naturally limited. I just go with the original and whenever available the oktoberfest which is my favorite of the bunch. The beers can be had in half sizes or the full 1L size. Definitely a place to visit when you're in Vegas!

If you visit the Hofbrauhaus, you're going for Hofbrau beer and the atmosphere, not the selection, as they only serve Hofbrau beer. Having been to the Hofbrauhaus in Munich, one in FL, and now this one, I have to say that the Hofbrauhaus Vegas is pretty similar to the one in Munich. Its definitely unique compared to American bars, pubs, etc. You share long tables with other guests and can enjoy four of their beers in .3, .5, or 1 liter sizes. I personally prefer the Dunkelweizen or the Dunkel lager.
As the night wears on and you drink stein after stein, everyone at your table is singing in german and clanking glasses while watching the guy at the table next to you who just chugged the two liter boot get carried out by his friends. This aspect and the actual look of the place actually reminded me of the time I was in Munich. Sure the beer seems expensive at $14 for a liter stein, but thats actually not awful when you think about how much beer that really is. If you're looking for a more authentic Bavarian drinking experience, try the Hofbrauhaus out.

My wife and I had dinner there earlier this week. Between the two of us, we had all four beers on tap. She enjoyed the wheat, me the dunkel, best, and the other two (original lager, holiday lager) were solid as well. I would need to do a head-to-head with the original and holiday, because I couldn't tell the difference.
The food (approx. $20/plate) was very good, and my wife truly enjoyed the roast chicken. I had the Hofbrauhaus platte, of which 2/3 of it was great (the other 1/3 being an average kielbasa). The food tasted great, was filling, and, for the most part, of good value. The food and beer does add up--about $135 in our case. Don't order anything without checking the price first: we ordered the "special pretzel" app, and I almost fell off my chair when it turned out to be $15.
I loved the atmosphere, just as raucous and fun as the HB in Kentucky. I don't know if they brew on site (as HB in Kentucky does), but I didn't wander around to find the tanks.
Service was attentive and friendly, but I had to lower the grade due to what I saw as excessive pimping of the gift shop by our waitress. Frankly, I'm not going to buy stuff at the gift shop just so you can win your internal contest about who gets tourists to buy the most swag. In fact, I was going to buy some swag, but to hear about the contest made me leave without spending a dime there. Reevaluate your marketing approach, please.

Got rinsed for $150.00, but had a good time.
Walked the mile or so from the strip and arrived at 15.00, thirsty and hot. Very few in (the band start at 17.00), we have a good look round. It is impressive, the inner courtyard/beergarden is lovely and obviously very close to the original back in Munich (as I remember it). The main drinking hall is spacious, bright and completely devoid of slot machines, very un Vegas like. There is a smaller bar as you first enter, but we went straight into the hall.
The beers were fine, as was the huge plate of white radish we shared. We sat alone until about 16.30 and were going to leave, but two blokes and then a couple were shown to our table and with the band about to start we stayed and got bladdered! Luckily the couple who came to sit with us were staying at our hotel and she (wasn't drinking) gave us a lift back to the Excalibur.
The staff get very excited if you don't give the full 20% gratuity in here, so please be warned, $25.00 is a big tip in my eyes, no matter how many beers she brought to me!

Cool place to check out if in Vegas, its off the strip right near the Hard Rock. Massive beer hall, massive wooden benches, tiny beer menu - a lager, a hefe, and a dunkel. Whatever, thats what I expected. Yes, all the women servers are wearing dirndls, a nice touch. In fact, I don't recall seeing any male servers.
I ordered a huge stein of the dunkel and enjoyed. I got a jumbo pretzel which was good but over priced. My friends ordered the same and agreed.
Service was friendly, and the place itself is pretty impressive. I didnt get to see a band though, damn. There is a merch section offering all sorts of overpriced HB wares including shirts and glassware.

This is definitely not a great place if you're looking for a great selection of beers but that's what's not so great about this place. It's a large beer hall atmosphere. A band playing at one end with german drinking songs and other traditional tunes.
All the women had dirndls. I think the most interesting aspect was the paddles. I have no idea if this is a beer hall tradition, but women walked around with paddles and jagermeister on it. You buy a shot and then she smacks you on the ass with the paddle. Smacks hard!
Food was also good. Great selection of saugages, pretzils and schnitzle. Go with a large crowd; it'll be the most fun.
