Red-brown beer, it tastes robust, as if brewed in a castle instead of an abbey. It tastes royal dark taste, i like it, licorice comes out good, it defines it.

Catch up rating from notes, 2012: Bottle picked up in Bruge. Poured into a tulip, lightly hazed golden body with a big, thick, creamy head. Aroma is sweet and grassy, Belgian yeast notes, slight savory scent as well. Taste brings the buttery malts and yeast, light fruit sweetness and a gentle hop presence. Feels great, thick and slippery, without being too boozy. Well done tripel.

This is a delicious Tripel of the highest standards. A beautiful golden color with a firm head and good lacing. Some nice sweetness on the sides, with dubbel like maltiness. There is a bit of slight hoppiness on the roof of the mouth. The sizzle here is perfect: the carbonation biting from the start to finish. This is going to rate as one of my favorites!

L: Gives a clear golden color, gives of a big top of creamy head. The head stays there for a good time.nice lacings on the glass.
S: the aroma is fruity and sweet. Light fruits like pears, peaches and apples. Burned sugar and yeast.some hints of honey and herbs.
T&F: Starts of fruity with yeasty and sugary sweetness in the background.it finish of with nice hoppy bitterness in the finish. I think it was quite good balanced in all the flavours and the aftertaste is lasting a good time and it never get to bitter in the taste. The mouthfeel is creamy and the alcohol content is masked very well.
O: a great triple. Very drinkable and enjoyable. I sure will try this again
