A: Pale, gold color, clear, and with a thin white head that faded quickly, leaving no lacing.
S: Cut hay, dried grain.
T: Mild malty sweetness at first, then faint grainy notes in the middle before a slightly bitter finish. Very uncomplicated flavor, and almost watered-down taste overall
M: Moist, but with only average carbonation.
O: This is not a drain pour, but it isn't good. The only thing it's good for is cooling off the heat of hot, spicy Korean food.

Had this clear, light gold beer with Korean food on an absolutely steaming hot New York City night and it did the trick. It has a small white head that settles slowly, minimal lacing, a bready sweet malt aroma, and a hint of floral hops.
The flavor is much the same; on the sweet side, a bit of caramel and bread character to the malt, drying up pretty well in the finish; some light floral hopping; reminds me of a generic German Helles-style beer. Low bitterness and not much of an aftertaste.
Light bodied with medium carbonation; a little bit watery. Very easy to drink and good to wash down the intensely flavored Korean dishes.

Served in a bottle at Han Bat in New York, NY
A: Pours a crystal clear pale yellow in color with moderate amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a half finger tall off-white fizzy head that reduces to thin patches and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. No lacing is observed.
S: There is a light presence of grain malts in the smell of this beer with some lighter hints of corn.
T: Follows the smell, the flavor is dominated by the grain malts. No bitterness or hops can be detected.
M: Light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.
O: Easy to drink, very refreshing, and definitely sessionable. Not a bad beer and certainly one I would get again when I'm out for Korean food.

A: The beer is clear golden yellow in color and poured with a small white head that quickly died down and left a bit of lacing on the surface.
S: There are light aromas of grainy hops in the nose.
T: Similar to the taste, the beer has flavors of bready and grainy malts along with some hints of malty sweetness.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate with a moderate to high amount of carbonation.
O: The beer is very easy to drink. I wouldn’t consider it to be a standalone beer, but it goes well with spicy Korean food.

Had this beer in a sushi place in Orange, CA. A 22 oz bottle poured into a normal tumbler glass.
A- Pale golden, poured a nice thick head with good carbonation and spotty lacing.
S- Light malt and bready tones. Not very complex but a good match for the beer.
T- Malty and bready. Nothing special though.
M- Thin in body, but good carbonation and finishes smooth.
O- Never seen this beer before at a sushi place, awesome I got to try it. It was tasty and a good alternative to the usual Asahi and Kirin.

Spent a week in Seoul enjoying the local sights and tastes. The Korean barbecue I found to be excellent, The local brews somewhat less so. The one standout of the locals that I tried was this one. OB Golden Lager in the sixteen ounce can was around two dollars US from the 7-11 around the corner from the Park Hyatt.
Poured a rich, clear gold with a short-lived white head. Carbonation was abundant and lasted quite some time.
Smell was slightly grainy some hints of white-toasted bread but overall not at all unpleasant.
Taste was slightly malty sweet, lightly hopped but quite refreshing with no off-putting flavors, clean and crisp about sums it up.
Mouth-feel was as one might expect - that is to say light with abundant carbonation.
Overall best in class for the Korean Macros that I tried. Beat out Hite and Cafri by wide margins. When in Korea, this pairs nicely with the little fried anchovies in sweetened soy...

Poured into a short tumbler. Pours a clear golden with a two fingered, fizzy white head that drops rather quickly. No foam remaining after the drop.
Aromas of earthy hops and grainy malt.
Flavors of earthy hops and grainy malt. Finish is medium with grainy malt and a light bitterness lingering.
Mouthfeel is light, not quite watery, with a nice bitterness and a bit of a prickly carbonation.
Overall, not a bad Korean verson of a pale euro lager. Better than all of the local other offerings I've had in Korea.
