The Main Street Coffee Porter brewed by Brickhouse Brewery is a fantastic porter beer. This dark as midnight black beer is served in a pint glass. The bang! In your face coffee aroma is very prevalent and hits you on the first taste, too. The beer is a full bodied and almost syrupy almost creamy. The tastes of coffee, sweetness, and hints of chocolate, a very flavorful beer that is easy to drink.

Pitch black with a faint froth of beige head. Little lacing. Espresso bean aroma. Huge coffee bean flavors with dark berry fruit sweetness to complement. Warmth brings out the roast in both aroma and flavor. Not the most balanced, but certainly tasty and drinkable. Mouth and carbonation are good for the style.

A: Pours a dark brown body with a quarter inch, tan head with great retention through the finish.
S: A nice, roasted coffee smell that was quite enticing.
T: A solid roasted taste with a strong coffee aftertaste. This beer was very robust with flavor.
M: Full-bodied and smooth mouthfeel. Smooth like silk and very easy to drink.
D: Very drinkable beer. Easy to drink, excellent, robust flavor. I could have drank this all night long. Excellent example of a porter.

This beer poured a dark chocolate color into a pint glass, with a thin brown head, and web-like lacing around the glass. Aroma was of burnt sugar, slightly bitter, but pleasant.
The burnt caramel flavor, along with a sweet coffee and unsweetened chocolate taste forms this beer. There is a mild hop presence. Mouthfeel is medium and not overly carbonated. Overall this is a silky smooth porter from Brickhouse with that robust mocha flavor you would come to expect.

Poured a deep black hue with a two finger foamy off white head. There was good retention and very sticky lacing.
The smell featured a robust burnt grain and a good coffee element.
The taste consisted of an upfront burnt grain and coffee. Some charcoal flavors and caramel notes as well.
The mouthfeel was of average fullness and very smooth.
Overall a very nice porter. One of the best to come out of Brickhouse.
