First off I love the description of the beer as a christian.Ok now for the review.Poured into an imperial nonic a clear deep copper/bronze with a sticky half finger white head atop.Aromas were lighter with a firm lighlty sweet malt base and a mix of floral and leafy hops. This is a quaffable moderatly hopped pale but the hops are assertive.A lighter mouthfeel with leafy lightly citric hops and a firm toasted malt base, hop burps give off more.I like this beer it's quaffable as all get out, don't have overly high expectations and enjoy it.

Pours a clear dark orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, grain, and some mild herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with a malty flavor on the finish. There is a very mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is drinkable but super malty with hardly any hop presence in the aroma or flavor.

This ale was created "to commemorate Saint Mary's College's 150th Anniversary". Cool idea and the label is righteous. And it's Brandon's alma mater too!
Pours a light copper color with a decent white foamy head that disappointedly vanishes pretty quickly. Agitating does creep it back...for a moment.
The aroma has some light dankness, dark berries, spice, breadiness and nuts. As it warms, the malt is very present.
The taste is very malt forward with a touch of hops livening the ale. Splash of citrus rind on the finish. Pretty clean tasting brew and easy drinking.
Overall I love supporting my hometown brewery but this just lacked that special "something" for me. Definitely easy drinking and thirst quenching and worthy of representing the Gaels though. Let's hope this makes it into the Gael parties instead of the usual bmc.
