Poured from bottle into a pint glass

A: Very thin layer of creamy head that never really disappeared. Color is dark amber to light brown. Hazy.

S: a good dose of yeast on the first whiff. But then citrusy, piney hoppiness.

T: overwhelming bitterness right off the bat mixed with a noticeable maltiness. Finishes with a distinct pepper flavor.

M: Bitter.

D: A great beer, but this is my preferred style. Bitterness is quite overwhelming at times; this beer makes its presence known.

A - A deep clear amber pour with a one inch foamy head which leaves minimal lacing.

S - Caramel malts, honey, cantaloupe, grapefruit and more grapefruit.

T - Like the nose, tons of grapefruit with some honey and caramel malts, finishing with more grapefruit and a touch of aspirin. Alcohol is well hidden.

M - Smooth and oily with a dry, bitter finish. The bitterness hangs around the tongue forever after the last sip. Carbonation is medium.

O - A tasty, bitter DIPA with a well-hidden 9.2 ABV. Give it a try if you love hop-bombs, otherwise avoid.

Pours amber with a fading head.
Nose shows big citrus fruit with orange marmalade and tangerine alongside soft pine and resinous hops. Also some clean malt and soft booze.
Very aggressive flavours. Massive pine and grapefruit with just a little malt underneath. Very sharp bitterness in the finish mixing with the booze. Almost harsh.
Nice moderate carbonation.
