Pint Glass.

This is not the biggest RIS I have ever tasted but it is quite tasty and well made.

A nice dark appearance. Not much head and very little lacing down the glass. It's appearance is less elegant as it becomes consumed. Scents are nice and strong. A bitter coffee and heavy malt stake their claim and leave little room for any hops to appear until it warms a bit.

Mostly a malty brew. The bitterness is in the coffee bean flavor. There is some mild chocolate which appears later. A bit of sweet toffee and a very smooth alcohol flavor which really adds to this stout. The hops come along for the finish but this one is really pushing a medium bitter coffee flavor. The flavors balance themselves quite well.

Between medium and heavily bodied. Mouthfeel is smooth with a welcome bite at the end. This stout sips very well over time. Take it slow.

Again, this is not a huge RIS but it is bigger than the typical stout. I recommend giving this stout a try.
