Enjoying with lunch on my vacation in London.
Pours a clear golden amber color with visible carbonation. A nice moussy head displays good retention with creamy lacing.
The aroma exhibits a nice combination of malts and hops. Bready and toasted grains interplay with citrus fruit and apricot.
The taste is initially clean and balanced. A doughy malt with citrus pith begins to develop. A modest to low hops bitterness is present, clean and more for balance. Bright notes of light lemon, as well as modest grassy flavors also begin to emerge.
On the light side of medium bodied, smooth and almost creamy and frothy. The carbonation is moderate.
A nice restrained and even tempered IPA at a low ABV. Unlike American session IPAs, this one is more balanced as it showcases more malt flavor.

Enjoyed at St Pancras Hotel, London.
A- Perhaps it's a nitro because the head lasts and laces. Copper amber in color. Crystal clear. 1 finger head.
S- Classic English hop notes- too meek, but what I get is floral with honey and orange peel.
T- Follows the smell but more plentiful, floral grassy, earthy hop notes up front. Then a biscuit flavor with honey and orange peel. As with great E IPAs - marmalade on toast.
M- Nice mouth feel, smooth and mid-bodied.
O- Classic English IPA.

Drank a pint of this on draught at the Juction Harbourne which was served in tall tulip glass and served at Lager temperature with half inch of white head. Good clear amber colour but I got no discenable aroma worth mentioning. Nice rounded mouthfeel with moderate carbonation but apart from a slight grassy taste and a hint of light hops I got little else in the way of flavour. Not bad but slightly dissapointing and bland for an IPA of this strength. Ordered something else for my second pint which I suppose sums it up.

Had this after work one evening, from the bottle as we didn't have any glasses.
Had a really metallic nose, a faint scent of grassy hops but not much going on.
The taste was cloying, metallic, sweet and very confused in terms of the hop character. Actually fairly revolting, thin finish.
Definitely avoid

A- Light amber to deep gold in color. Crystal clear. 1 finger head, with relatively thin body, but a decent amount of head retention was present, with a thin layer of off-white bubbles laying around for a while.
S- Moderate English hop notes- mostly floral with a moderate touch of orange peel. Also solid hints of honey and a slightly dry cedar woody note that almost reminds me of bourbon. Enjoyable, but mild flavors.
T- Very grassy, earthy hop notes up front. A slightly biscuit flavor with just a hint of butter (diacetyl?) and orange peel. Almost like biscuits with orange marmalade and butter. Pretty tasty.
M- Surprisingly smooth and full-bodied, with a good round mouthfeel.
O- Not a bad overall representation of the style. American IPA fanatics might not like it, but the subtlties are nice, and I really like the nose on this beer. The slight hint of butter adds rather than detracts, and I think it is a well-balanced, good English IPA.
