I read some of these messages before I went. We are having a Steelers party this weekend and were in search of some PA beer up in Cleveland. Found: Iron City, Penn Brewery, and Rolling Rock. Then, I looked through their selection and found some neat finds: Dogfish 90 Minute IPA; an entire Belgium Brewery selection; Smithwicks; and a lot of other small finds. Guys in there were definitely authentic Clevelanders (got some grief regarding the Steelers). And they were very helpful with us.
Well worth a trip.

I was in Cleveland for a minute this past week and decided to see what the locals had to offer that I hadn't seen before. I found the store squeezed into a strip mall, and almost hidden. Upon entrance, it looks like your typical beer / wine store, as loads of POS merchandising is present for Mike's Hard Lemonade, Smirnoff Ice, etc. etc. I thought this was gonna be a waste of time. I made my way to the coolers and found quite a few regional brews, (Bell's Founder's, Great Lakes) and some new suprises that I'd never seen before. Moving further back to the beer cases in the back I found some macros that i'd never seen, but must be common in those parts; Ginny Light, Genessee Cream Ale, Ballentine, Saranac, and Iron City. Nice! I'm hip to tryin anything new, and they were all new to me, so I was into them. The store also had a respectable representation of Belgian ales (Chimay, Unibroue, Duvel). Many local beers and even more regional micros. Very impressive. Overall good selection; there is something for everyone here. The staff was kind enought to hook me up with boxes for singles, which they had many of, and allowed me to bust up a few six packs. Nice. The prices were competitive, if not a touch lower than what I am used to. If you're in the area, it's worth a drive to check them out. Recommended stop.

This a pretty big beer store with a pretty good selection. They stock some import, a lot of craft beer, and a few Trappist choices. Overall I wasnt impressed with this store. They have some dusty bottles. The store wasnt stocked in any logical order. The help here realy dont know about the beers they stock. I asked if they had any thing from Bell's, I might as well just asked for the winning lottery numbers in advance. They do have a lot to choose from and the prices are right. I just expect a more enthusiastic, knowledgeable staff in a store this well stocked.

This liquor/beer store in Cleveland is located in a shopping center with two resale shops and a check cashing facility. So, when I stopped in I expected to find only malt liquor and some cheap mass produced and marketed beer.
I was wrong! This place has an ample selection for those of you in Cleveland or just passing through. They had nearly all the Dogfish Head brews, several of Bell's, Great Lakes (of course), Pyramid, Victory, Young's and many others.
The staff is exceptionally nice and helpful. What they don't have in the store they will happily order for you. Although they aren't too knowledgeable about the beer they sell, they are happy to help you find the particular brew you are looking for.
This is a great place to support and definitely has one of the best beer selections in Cleveland.

A small little beverage store in Biddulph plaza not too far from home.
They've got a fair selection, but nothing extraordinary. Just the basics such as Weyerbacher, Rogue, Bells, Great Lakes, Dogfish Head (actually grabbed their last bottle of Chateau Jiahu here) so on and so forth. Singles can be purchased from anything that's offered in sixers, but theres no separate section for singles, so the shelves are riddled with half empty cartons leaving the store looking just too messy IMO.
Worth a shot if you are in the area, but don't go in expecting too much.

Nice place with a good selection. Most of their beers can be purchased as singles, which is always nice.
Usually fair: GLBC, Dogfish Head, Rogue, Bells,Chimay, Flying Dog, Magic Hat, Samuel Smiths, Saranac, La Gunnitas (sp?) Seirra Nevada, Sam Adams, (but alas, no Buckeye.)
The staff is friendly and helpful.
Prices are okay. On a par with World Market ,Musturd Seed and heinens.
I found this place a result of reading a report here.
Good value, nice location, near a Giant Eagle for easy pick up of those last minute BBQ items.
