Poured into a dimpled beer mug from a can.
A-Poured a deep golden light brown hue; quite a cloudy look to the beer. An off-white, 2-finger whipped cream head that never disappeared. Left a pool of cream at the bottom of the glass, with some sticky lace on the sides. I could have eaten this with a spoon.
S-Light, slightly nutty and malty, with a hint of sweetness. There was a trace amount of caramel, too. Nice smells for a light beer.
T-Because this is a light beer, all the tastes were so light, yet so flavorful. Nutty, some bread, caramel malt, and a bit of some type of fruit, I couldn't quite pick what fruit it was. There was also an ever so slight taste of sweet ice tea and some English muffins. The backend was a little bitter and dry from the hops. Great balance of light flavors and just a touch of dry.
M-Thin, yet creamy mouth-feel. It was quite light on the carbonation and it had a thin and watery feel. It was so light and refreshing, and crisp. Could easily drink a couple.
Overall-Why can't American big name brewers make light beer this good? It is an ultra light ale, with a lot of subtle flavors that keep you craving for more. For a big name international brand beer, it is pretty good. Perfect for the hot summer months!
Cheers!

This is from a nitro can poured into a British pub glass and it is surprisingly yummy. L: It is hazy orange amber under a 1” white foam collar that provides thick lace. S: Bready malt, slight fruit and nut aromas. T: Creamy and drinkable, slight sweetness in the background, malt prominent, lingering hop aftertastes backed by pleasant, biscuit malt – the nitro can sweeps out all of the bitter hop flavors. F: Fairly light but super creamy. O: This is so soothing – this is what you might drink when you have an owie.
