330ml.Bottle. Footed Pilsner glass. Enjoyed many times. Pale Golden. Crystal clear. White crown not really thick but shows fairly good retention. Usual Euro Pale Lafer smelling: slightly malty, notes of lager yeast , floral/hoppy aromas. Mildy malty flavor, no sweetness. Dry bitter in the middle lingers to the finish. Crisp mouthfeel. Light body, medium carbonation. Pleasant drinkability.

quickly dispersing head, ontop a classic mass produced yellow euro pale lager.
smells quite malty
this is kindof englands budwieser, cheap, unchallenging beer.
this stuff isnt bad, i like it more than some of the low level stuff here, worse than fosters, better than budweiser or kronenbourg.
about on par with heiniken.
it is refreshing, and not too boring, a bit of hops and low alcohol could make this a good general public beer.

Is a typical example of a mass produced beer, ie a beer that is not about the taste of beer. Is only good when cold, and not at room temperature. Nice can design, good golden colour, but over carbonated as expected. Is good on a hot English summer's day if you get lucky with the weather, and you do not want to challenge the palette.

The colour is a brownish gold with no head. It smells a tiny bit skunky, but mostly like nothing.
The taste is like a more watered down real Carlsberg, which in my opinion is a slight improvement. Real Carlsbergs don't taste very good, so at least this tasteless one is refreshing. Like I said, it's a bit of an improvement. It's not so much more good as less bad.

the first time I had this beer was in ireland. I happened to run across it at my local grocery and decided to reminisce. This beer looks like an average mass produced lager. The smell is hoppier than a bud product. The taste is as well. Over all this isn't afantastic beer, and the fact that it's 3.8% apv is a little sad. Carlsberg is better than no beer.

The UK version of Carlsberg Lager sold with the green label, standard Carlsberg being branded as "Carlsberg Export" in the UK.
A very light amber with a pinky sized foam, white head that doesn't last very long.
Hardly any smell at all from this, what there is smells of mainly grain & has a slight chemical like aroma.
Tastes as if it is off, very grain/bread like with a strange bitter-sweet aftertaste that is generally quite unpleasant.
Very light bodied & quite watery. The carbonation is poor & taste flat/off.
A real shocker of a pint, definitely unpleasant & was left unfinished. Had no positive aspects at all & is a lot worse than the standard Carlsberg (known as Carlsberg Export in the UK)
