I've not just sat down and tasted and posted reviews for awhile so, I'm having a Sunday tasting for myself.
Best before date on the bottle of March 2013.
This one is hard to judge as it's well
made on an objective standard but not really my thing; basically to "sweet" and perhaps a bit out of balance for me.
Hazy light gold with a thick pure white foamy thick head.
Huge fruit esters in the nose; big cooked carmeled banana nose.
Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with a light creamy character. Perhaps a bit out of balance in that there is huge sugar-sweet cooked stone fruit in the front that goes to a sweet honey middle and a sweet honey finish, all with an underlying light unassertive bitter hop.
Finish gets to a honeyed pine bitter but still retains that "estered/honey/sweet" character.
All in all not bad but not my style. Just all around too honeyed/thick sweet for me. I can see where many would like this and there are many old ales that have this big sweet assertive ester character - seems to hide some of the higher alcohol.
I have judged on as much of an objective standard as I can for this one and not on my personal likes.

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 9.5%. Golden colour, nearly clear. Huge white head. Aroma of stale jam, Belgian ale yeast and mild spices. Fairly sweet and mildly spicy flavour. Nice enough to drink, but cannot compete with the best tripels like Westmalle and Karmeliet.

L- Mid to darker amber, clear (minor sediment left at bottle) pours with 5mm white head (ps 15mins later, holds very well).
S- Significantly less smell than anticipated, just a minor sharp/dry/woody note, vague enought that I can't describe it more specifically.
T- I'd now call it piquant rather than sharp, a bright spicy edge. I get timber, depth then the 9.5% makes it's presence briefly apparent by brushing my palate. Like seeing an oceanic shark on a dive, it crosses your horizon, makes you fully aware of it's presence and then silently glides off from view, though you know it's still lurking out there...
F- It's not THAT deep (as in dark/heavy) but it's really quite intense. Put it like this I wouldn't aim to review another beer after drinking this one as my palate will need time to reset to fresh.
O- A very interesting beer, intriguing that a 9.5% can be this bright and engaging.
Bought from BeersOfEurope UK 330ml BB: 26/06/2022 - not cheap though £3.33!
Conclusion: I think this is a pretty fantastic beer, that said I wouldn't wish to try and drink more than one of them at a sitting.

Honey colored body with a foamy head. Smells a bit like candy, chalky sweet. Candi sugar, some fruit skin, tangy and semi drying. This one is missing depth and spicy earthy notes in my opinion.

Not the best tripel but not the worst, especially for the money.
Golden honey body with a good amount of hazy. Head for days.
The aroma and the taste are equally sweet, dominating the malt. Lots of fruit with the yeast and lacking some of the spiciness. More banana shows up in the taste along with some ripe pear.
The body is medium plus with higher carbonation.
