A: Thick peach juice or oarange and apple juices mixed. Opaque. Finger of whitish head fades to foam fast. Dark yeast chunks settle on the bottom of the glass.
S: Corriander, pheonols, citrus, Belgian yeasts, earthy, herbal.
T: Corriander, pheonols, citrus, Belgian yeasts, earthy, herbal, a sort of candy like quality and citrus orange peels, reminds me of mulled orange juice. Bubble gum.
M: Medium thick body, small bubbled medium low carbonation.
O: A really cool bottle with flowers embossed in the glass, no English on it whatsoever. Found this one at a driving range in Chiang Mai, Thailand. My first from this brewer. Really good flavourful beer that is delicious, thick and enjoyable. Much like a heffe-weizen, but with lots more citrus fruity qualities and a thick body. Great by itself in hot weather.

Norrebro Stuykman Witt...on tap at the brewpub in Copenhagen, Denmark
Appearance-cloudy orange color served in a wit glass. The pour was presented perfectly with a fit two finger white head.
Smell-normal wheat smells of light spice and yeast, mixed with light fruit, alcohol spice. Smell isn't that aromatic but it is there.
Taste/Mouthfeel-medium mouthfeel, a rush of yeast and a little alcohol to start, fruit flavors linger with a touch of breaded grain, hops finally make a quick appearance near the end and the finish is of light yeast
Overall- a finely crafted wit, maybe not world class but refreshing and a nice way to start my meal here.

The colour is orange-amber; the liquid cloudy. The finger thick head is white and airy. It sinks slowly leaving almost no lacing.
The smell is a bit sour with wheat-y notes of dough and fresh bread. Citric notes of lime, orange peels and bitter oranges. Hints of yeast and minerals/iron. It reminds a bit of soap and detergents.
The taste is rather sweet with lots of dough-like flavours. Some minerals and earthy notes. Citric flavours of oranges, lemon coordinal and lemon peels. The aftertaste is dry and a bit sour with spicy hints plus a mild neutral bitterness.
The carbonation is mild; the smooth bubbles are fresh. The liquid is a bit thick and sticky.
Shame about the earthy off flavours, otherwise it is a decent wit.

Pours a light golden pale yellow with slight one finger head from the brewpub in Copenhagen. Head dissipates to a light film on of a less than cloudy medium body. Clarity is high on this beer but from draft that may be what to expect.
The aroma is heavily of banana fruit and slight coriander underneath. Subtle peppery notes come through accompanied by a mild "funkiness" which actually adds a nice complexity to the overall aroma. Very subtle notes of apple and lemon also pervail underneath.
Light to medium bodied ale with a mild front palate of cereals, banana and clove followed by slight coriander and lemon. Finishes fairly clean with lasting aftertaste of spice and banana.
With so many wits out there in the world it's easy to be critical but this is obviously a delicious style and this example is certainly one to quench the thirst of a parched Copenhagener .

On-tap, served in 10-cl., conical sample glass.
Slightly cloudy yellowish color; nice freshness in the aroma; citrus notes and a slight yeast presence dominates the taste, which isn't quite as refreshing as the aroma promises.
Pleasant mouthfeel and good drinkability.
A somewhat anonymous witbier; pleasant enough and easy to drink, but not all that interesting in the long run.
