It was tricky keeping the head to a reasonable level with this one. On one pour, it got totally out of hand, but by being careful, I got the second one perfect.
Looks pretty good. Head is nice, retention is good, and it's appropriately cloudy. I'd like to see more bubbles, though.
Smells good...fresh and mildly citrus.
But ok...this one really takes off in the taste department. It's a really really nice Belgian wit, and it has its own unique taste. Not overly spicy, but the citrus comes through with a rind-y grapefruity edge that would be super-refreshing on a hot day, when (in my opinion) Belgian wits are best consumed.
Mouthfeel is good, though I'd appreciate a wee bit more carbonation, but I can't complain. Other than that, it's just right.
This is scary drinkable. If I'm ever in Saskatoon in summer, this will be my go-to daytime beer...no question.
enjoy!

A - Pours a cloudy copper color with a mountain of head. Stringy sometimes chunky unappealing yeast is visible.
S - Spicy aroma with citrus tones.
T - Citrus and spice. Decent malt backbone.
M - A little watery. Carbonation seems to be about right.
D - Drinkable
