A-Poured a clear golden straw w/light head.

S-Sweet mealy grain, creamed corn, possible traces of diacetyl.

T-Creamed corn, sweet grain, light fruit. Taste does not change much across the palate, and I discerned no hop character in the finish.

M-Carbonation was somewhat inadequate, and sweet grainy character went unchecked, contributing to imbalance. There were almost no hops to offer any counterweight, and the result was a slightly nauseating sweetness that did little to satisfy. Light body closely matched style.

D-I found this hard to drink, but my wife, who prefers lighter-flavored brews w/little hop bitterness, found it very enjoyable. I suppose it's "extra" because it's extra light, not extra blonde. Learned after a conversation w/a more experienced beer drinker that creamed corn may be sign of DMS.

Moderate head with some small streaks on the glass. The color lighter gold. Crystal clear.

Sweet nose with lots of caramel. No notable hop.

The taste is fortunately dryer, more semisweet. I'm relieved. The body is quite rich for the style. The carbonation is on the lower side. The caramel is still the predominant note to this beer. There is some bitterness in the swallow which creates a degree of balance. The aftertaste is short.

This one was really, and unexpected cloudy, orange and nearly brown nuances, an off-white head with little lacing.

The smell was sweetish, honey and apricots.

Tasting of sweet fruit soup, a metallic bitterness.

Light carbonation, a bit coarse, medium body and a dry finish.

Unbalanced and with chemical tones.

This beer arrives in a pint glass on the bar, and appears a slightly hazy pale golden, with one finger of thin wispy white head, which leaves no lace as it melts away. It smells of freshly malted grain, like when you walk past a microbrewery on malting day. The taste is mild sweet biscuity white grain, a bit of fruitiness, and earthy hops. The carbonation is on the low side, the body fairly decent, a bit of oiliness in there, and it finishes dry, and fairly crisp. A decent pint for a warm Montreal Sunday summer evening, after getting soaked in the rain all day. Zut alors!

Poured a medium straw hue with a half finger foamy white head. There was decent retention and lacing.

The smell featured a buttery diacytl and a light grainy malt.

The taste was upfront buttery with a husky grain and flowery hop.

The mouthfeel was of average fullness for the style.

Overall a decent ale with some off flavors.

This beer was one of the best selling beers I think. I saw a lot of people ordering this one. Maybe for beer novices this is just a small step towards craft beer.

Color was golden with a small head, or actually just a small layer of foam. Little carbonation.

Smell was 'decent', I mean that everything was in there but just enough to just smell it. There was some malt, some hops en some yeast products. This was also the case with the taste, easy drinkable, low bitterness, low body and just a slight different taste than a lager.
O well, maybe every brewery needs this kind of beer to draw those Coors light fanatics.
