A: Poured from a bottle to a pilsner glass. Had a pale yellow color and a clear consistency. There was an inch of foamy head that lasted an average amount of time. Fair lacing.

S: Not much of an aroma here, but traces of grain and hops.

T: Tasted of hops (a mild amount), malt (again, a mild amount), grain, and corn in the finish. Not exactly what you might call a complex beer, this one tasted like a slightly better version of a Bud Light. That's not a compliment. There's simply not a lot going on in the flavor here.

M: A well-carbonated beer with a dry, smooth finish. Light-bodied.

O: To be fair, the Light Lager style does not allow brewers to make a truly great beer. That being said, this one succeeds in making a beer true to the style, but doesn't do anything more than that. Kind of a misfire.

12 oz bottle poured into pint glass.

A: Poured a straw yellow, very clear with visible carbonation. Had a good fingers worth of head that dissipates as quickly as it appears with no lacing.

S: Smells pretty much like most Light Lagers, lightly sweet malt with a hint of fruit, not much else, pretty average for the style.

T: I'm getting sweet malt, yeast and a little breadiness right up front, then a little fruitiness kicks in at the end.

M: Very light bodied with a strangely creamy feeling as it warms up.

O: Pretty average Light Lager, but miles above the big Macro brews. Pretty low ABV makes it very drinkable. Not a bad little brew...

Appearance: a banana yellow color. Below average carbonation throughout. About half a finger of head on the pour which did not retain well. Pretty regular looking overall.

Smell: Bread, yeast, some fresh greens, banana peel, and some nutty tones. Very interesting, much more then I had expected. Light and sweet, really makes you stick your nose in and enjoy.

Taste: Some of the pleasant yeasty banana sweetness on the front on this brew. The body dissolves into a slightly lacking yeast presence which has a sort of hollow taste. Finish is an interesting sticky leafy greens flavor with some lingering yeast sweetness.

Mouthfeel: Clean and refreshing. Super easy drinking and very enjoyable.

Overall: A really solid brew. Nothing to run out and go get but if you can pick it up in a mix six some time I would definitely recommend it. Nice afternoon beer.

Appearance:
Golden color, a little haze. Lots of small bubble rising up. Bright white head.

Aroma:
Faint aroma... I'm picking up some spicy, bready, a little lemony.

Taste:
Sweet malts, bready, grassy, a little honey. Hop bitterness is mild, spicy-lemony. Clean and crisp finish. Body is light, crisp, refreshing, semi dry, well carbonated.

Overall:
Very good for a Light Lager.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. Sampled on March 29, 2013.

The pour is an agitated, carbonated pale yellow with a small but lasting fizzy, white head.

The aroma is akin to a pilsener or Kolsch with a lot of grainy malts, grass, bread, finished with a crispy hop note.

The body is light and mildly smooth.

The flavor is grainy with a vague hope bite finishing things off. It really is nothing out of the ordinary but would be easy to drink on a warm day.

Poured a dull clear yellow with almost no head to speak off, just a light white ring.

The smell is a touch grassy with a bit of lemon, very light.

Has a light grainy flavor with a bit of grassy mildly bitter hop finish.

The mouthfeel is water thin with a smidge of carbonation.

They did a good job of making a gluten free version of the a typical bad American light beer, but otherwise nothing to see here.

Served in a Lagunitas mason jar.

Continuing the expansion of my gluten-free beer horizons. This stuff pours a clear pale straw topped by a finger of relatively short-lived lightly off-white foam. The nose is nearly nonexistent, though there's a wafting of pure cellulose, like the water dripping from a piece of split celery. I can't say it's necessarily a bad thing, just a feeling like they weren't at all trying here. The taste holds notes of light wheat, light flowers, dried honey, and a vague sense of something sweet-ish that I can't quite put my finger on. The body is a hefty light, with a light moderate carbonation and a watery feel. Overall, a pretty weak brew, one that seems to compound some of the negative things I've heard about GF beers.

A - Pours with a small head of white foam on top of a lightly hazy, golden body. The foam fades rapidly and leaves no lace.

S - A very light, grainy aroma.

T - A bit of lightly sweet malt up front, some grainy notes in the middle, and a finish of dry malt and herbal hops.

M - a light body, average carbonation, and a dry finish.

D - For what it is, it is actually pretty well done. It doesnt compare to a truly full flavored beer, Ii it is intended to be a gluten free substitute for light lager it's a home run as there is nothing about it that (other than the poor foam) that screams gluten free and I would say it actually tastes like real beer.
