Definitely a typical Taco Mac, plenty of TVs tuned to sports stations but not too loud. It seems smaller than other Taco Macs I have visited, but it is no less appealing. They have the expected large selection of beers, with emphasis on craft brews and imports and plenty of locals. Waitstaff are alert and helpful, so I didn’t have to wait long for service or to find a place to plug in my laptop. As of writing this I haven’t had a chance to sample the food, but I imagine it is the same as any Taco Mac, above average for bar food. If you live in or near Alpharetta and love beer, definitely worth a visit.

A far cry from Taco Mac metropolis.
Place has been half empty almost every time I've been there, which is something of a downer. Occasionally the whole place will smell like bleach. Seems to be frequented by middle and high school sports teams post games fairly frequently, and just on the whole feels like a more family-oriented establishment than most other Taco Macs I've been to.
Poor selection compared to most other Taco Macs.
Food and service are comparable to other Taco Macs. Service is helpful and friendly but not especially knowledgeable, and food is tasty but not mind blowing.

A: This Taco Mac is like almost all the others. However, it gets a little bit of a boost due to the added privacy of the booth seating. It allows you to at least have a conversation if you are there with a couple of friends.
Q: The store is pretty clean and looks newer than some of the others in the area.
S: The servers have typically been rather slow at this location compared to the others in the area. I do not expect them to know much about the beer, but it would be nice for them to kind of know the tap menu and not need to look each time you ask for something that isn't BMC. However, that does mean you are more likely to get what you wanted, so maybe its not all bad.
Sel: After my first visit, I would have thought the selection was pretty good for their draft list. The problem is, 4 or 5 visits later and the draft menu had not changed out at all. Most of the stores have a lot of churn which allow me to always find one gem I have not had previously. This store did not hold true to that. I stopped going for a long time due to the stale beer menu. On my last visit, half of their taps had finally turned over, but it had just occurred since their "just in" and "gone" list took up an entire page.
Food: Same menu as all other Taco Mac locations.

Another day and another Taco Mac. These places really are all about the same to be honest. The only real difference is what time you go. Ya know though, you do have to give them credit. For all the flak these places get as a chain store, from me included, they probably do have the best selection of any chain restaurant, especially in the southeast. You can pretty much always find something good to drink, and this location was no exception. Food is cheap, quick, and good. Cannot really complain under those circumstances. It is a decent place overall to eat and have a few with friends and I do not think it pretends to be anything else. A decent stop in for a quick meal and that is usually what I use them for. Not bad in a pinch at all, and I will probably end up hitting one again in the future.

I originally reviewed this place (see below) and had good things to say. But now, after a second trip, things have changed.
I stopped in on Friday afternoon to sit outside and have a beer. I sat there for 10-15 minutes before deciding to just go to the bar and get my own beer! No one even looked my way! I had a brew, and low and behold, could not get another. So, I had to go and get my second one too. This is a total pisser! Anyway, alot of the beer that they had on tap was out and the service sucked. That is it in a nutshell. I dont really like this place, but it is close to where I live and the beer selection ( when they have it in stock ) is as good as any around my place.
Lots of beer on tap and cheap eats if hungry. The outside seating is great on warm nights and for large groups (i.e. softball teams, work gatherings, etc.) Service is not the quickest or best, and knowledge of beer is not always good either. But, they have alot of beers on tap and local craft brews that I love. All in all one of the best beer hang outs in the Alpharetta Area, and very close to my apartment. I live only 2 or 3 blocks away, so it is great for me. The passport club is something interesting to look into as well. Getting rewarded for learning and tasting new beers; brilliant!

A typical sports bar that separates itself by offering huge selection. I think they have 100 on draft and even more in the bottle. Very supportive of local breweries and fully stocked with all the big names. Typical wings, burgers, etc., good prices though. Good customer benefits, every thursday if you order their beer of the month, you keep the glass and the club where if you drink a certain number of beers you get a plaque, mug, etc. Last time I was there, an intoxicated woman was throwing celery and food at our table and the manager quickly informed them they were cut off and eventually had to call the police. Good customer service.

A basic cookie curtter sports bar, this Taco Mac sets itself apart by having 100 brews on tap and over 200 in bottles. Their service is pretty good and food selection is as good as a typical restaurant. They have several local and regional micros on tap and they serve them at the right temperature (i.e., not too cold). This Taco Mac is a bit less crowded during the evenings and nights as it is located in an area of Alpharetta that is mostly dominated by office buildings. The atmosphere I experience on the night of a major Red Sox game was good. Over all, I recommend this place over other bars around town as it is in a clean, safe area, where heading to your parked car does not bring back memories of a latest episode of any reality crime drama.
