The wifey and I went to Fox and Hound after some Christmas shopping. As you walk in you are greeted by a hosttess. A dining area which is somewhat closed off by glass is to the left. The bar is straight head and a few tables to the right. A bigger dining area is in the back behind the bar. Several t.v.'s surround the place with sports on.
A comfortable atmosphere with alot of taps starring you down. There is a bit of macro's on tap but you can find some goodies. As we looked at the taps the waitress asked us if we needed a beer menu. We said sure. There is listed a craft section of a menu and a macro section. Which is always good to see.
Service was top notch a full bar and not an empty glass around the bar. Always impressive.
Decent selection like I said but with that many taps ( over 30 ) you would think there would be more than the macros' on tap.
A nice place to hang and watch a game but probably not a place for BA's.

I was very surprised by the size of the area, very big on both bar and tables. Lots of TV every where with the many games on.
They have over 40 taps or so with many good beers to select from. Ask for the beer menu booklet. Servers are very quick and nice. Prices were a bit high on all days except for Tuesday which ALL BEERS on tap are only $2.00 a pint!! but beware its gets pack.
Rest rooms are very clean (thank you) and the food I have tried have been very good and quick to your table.
This is a gem on Tuesday, better get there early before the crowd from work comes in... but remember on other nights to ask for the beer price as the beer menu does not list the price which some beer could be $8.00 a pint (my only complaint here).

Went here after dinner - so I didnt try any food. The place is a jumbo sized sports bar with a bunch of pool tables and darts and a big bar with lots of seating and TV's. The waitstaff was very attentive and provided quick service. The juke box here worked against itself for me and my wife, as wannabe gangsta rappers played thugged out rap nonsense for 2 hours, which was loud and annoying. After they left it was fine. They had some better then expected beers like Leinenkugel, Hoegaarden, Boddingtons and a few others. The beers were good - no major craft beers by any stretch - but better then I was expecting.

The first time i went here i was pleased with the service and the beer, though i cannot rememebr the beers i got (one was a rogue dead guy i think). but the most recent time i advised a friend of mine to get a circus boy draft as it was one of my favorites. when it came to the table it was amber colored and not cloudy at all. im not sure what he was served but ill be damned if it was a hefeweizen. in addition to his order i put in mine for a hogarden witbier i think it was. well, whatever it was supposed to be it was certainly not a witbier. it was semi-cloudy in the top half of the glass and clear on the bottom. so i put a straw in and tasted the top and bottom separately only to find my suspicions proved true, and it was indeed two different beers. Very unprofessional. this experience makes up the minority of my experiences there as every one before that, the beer was excellent. most likely the waiter, as when i asked for the leininkugel she said god bless you (she didnt say that, but she had no idea what i was talking about).

My first time here was a recent Friday night after 10pm when I met a couple of friends, and will hopefully be my last. The waitress was very accommodating with beer requests, she was friendly and efficient. However, the beer situation here is frightening and troubling. Hopdevil and Sierra Nevada Pale ale were advertised on the menu however they were out of them. What I ordered was the SN pale ale on draft; what I got was something else, we could not figure out what it was.
A place that calls themselves a pub should have beer taps/lists/menus in order. Do yourself a favor and walk a few feet into the King of Prussia plaza to Rock Bottom Brewery[Lower level by Sears and the Food Court].
Any self-respecting beer geek will know what I mean.

The atmosphere was certainly off the charts. I really enjoyed being there and in fact just sat around for about an hour people watching. The quality was ok, my girlfriends dinner was undercooked, but her friend and my meals were off the hook. The service was above average, but nothing to spectacular. They were timely, but not fast, I guess it added to the atmospher. There beer selection was not the best I have seen, but for a restraunt, it was damn good. I bunch of imports and specitlies, both on tap and in the bottle. I thought the over all value was fair as well. It was about $75 for the three of us, and worth every penny. Don't drink and review.

I stopped by one afternoon for a pre-shopping pint and lunch. I had my preconceptions about this place, but I must say I was a bit surprised when I stepped inside.
The first thing I noticed was the surplus of woodwork and open space. This building was twice as big as it needed to be, but thats just all the better for the consumer, right? When we entered, we were whisked off to the left to the smoke free dining room. It was nice that they had actual windows separating the smokers from the non. We were taken to a booth on the far wall. The boots that lined the walls were all elevated eight inches or so, and the overhead was lowered giving them a neat compartmentalized feel, kinda like crawling into a shelf. Above the booths were tons of televisions. Across the way, I could see at least a half dozen all set to about four different channels. What was really a turn for the worse was that the entire room was lit with a rose color light, so figuring out just what color my beer was became exceedingly difficult. On a positive note, the tables were covered in some sort of plether/vinyl table cloths, which really spruced up the over all feel of the place. When we finished our meal and beers, we took a walk around to find a really classy billiards room (balls were $11 an hour) in the back with a bunch of checkerboard two person tables. The bar area itself looked nice with more hard woods, seating all around and ceramic mugs hanging all about. Im guessing a regular could buy one and keep it at the bar. Over all, the hardwoods and spaciousness was appreciated greatly.
We split a pizza for lunch, which was very tasty. I dont recall its menu name, but it had goat cheese and mushrooms. We asked the waitress to hold the grilled chicken, as there were absolutely zero vegetarian options on the menu, short of mozzarella stick appetizers. I thought that the pizza was very good; above average compared to other places.
Our server was all right. She brought everything promptly, but disappeared for long stretches of time. She also brought a glass for my bottle of beer as per my request. Nothing stellar, but not too shabby.
The beer selection sucks. Seriously, this place should never have been entered on BeerAdvocate. Crappy macros galore and a Hoegaarden. I was disappointed, but I took the opportunity to try some macros that I otherwise never have a chance to try. Im really selling this selection, arent I? Come on down and try some beers that you normally dont because theres really nothing else on tap! Their bottle selection was all right, but who heads to a bar for the bottles? I was disappointed.
Not a bad joint. Its really beautiful and a nice place to hang, but it has a hands down crappy beer selection.

This Fox & Hounds location is very similar to their other locations (as chains try to be) with its green walls, old English prints, lots of TV's, and wooden floor and bar. The only exception is that this one is clean and new, and it's quite obvious that most of the wood is actually plastic. Still, the real brass Perlick tap towers remain and pour great beers from around the world, or do they? Although there are 24 taps, the selection at this location seems a bit heavy on the macros. Only 7 beers are interesting, and they include mostly basic beers: Bass, Guinness, Harp, Newcastle, Foster's, Boddington's and John Courage. Hmmmm? Fortunately, the bottled selection adds enough to keep it interesting with a good selection of locals (Yards, Flying Fish, Dogfish Head, Victory, Dock Street), some west coast beers (Anchor, Sierra Nevada), a few British ales (Fuller's, Samuel Smith's), and a smattering of Belgians (Duvel, Corsendonk). There's a large dining room adjacent to the bar, and some nice crescent-moon bars; but I really like the way that they positioned the ATM just on the ramp as you head down to the bar! Good call! Drink up. Spend it all. You won't remember it in the morning anyway.

This bar exists in the old Dick Clark's building in the King of Prussia mall. Right near Bennigan's and Crate & Barrel.
It has an excellent atmosphere. Screens all around on different channels. The old dance area is now filled with pool tables (which have stands for beer and food right by). The pool tables are free before 2pm and are only 11 bucks an hour per table after that. Very good for happy hour.
Their beer selection was really good. They had Fuller's London Pride, Belgian lambics, domestic drafts and a ton of other stuff. They have a wide selection of local microbrews on bottle. That was pretty impressive. Yards, Flying Fish (which for some reason was listed under imports), etc. All there.
Their food as far as I can tell is pretty good. My pulled chicken sandwhich with garlic mashed potatoes was very good. Others had no complaints.
Service was fine, but others who have gone at different times complained of slowness. It's new so I'll give it a pass.
Not a newbie anymore: Selection is OK. Some good things on tap. Bottles are pretty decent.
