Handpump halfpint at the Southampton Arms. According to the brewery's website, this beer is made with "a blend of Centennial, Liberty, Cascade, and Citra aroma hops by the sack full – then dry hopped during conditioning using our ‘Hoptimizer’ (Industrial sized hookah)."

A: Clear light amber body with a thin off-white head. A little bit of fine, clingy lace. Ok.

S: Tangerine hoppiness balanced effortlessly with some butterscotch maltiness. Rather sweet, very enjoyable.

T: Follows the nose, but with both the fruity hops and sweet malt amplified considerably. The sweetness and hoppiness are on an even footing most of the way through, until the hops assert themselves with solid bitterness on the finish. Very, very dry aftertaste. Delicious.

M: Medium-bodied and lightly carbonated. Smooth and soft, but a bit sticky.

O: Wonderful Pale Ale, although I wouldn't have minded more emphasis on the hops throughout.
