Not sure if they were remodeling in here or something, but this place is a bit of a dump. The beer is to the left when you walk in, and there is a very decent selection of 4 and 6 packs from all over the country, as well as some imports. Bomber selection is a bit thin, but decent. The place was a wreck, overall, and once I got over the fly buzzing my face every five minutes I could relax and look around. The guy working the register grunted a couple times when I was checking out, so I would say there is not much emphasis on service. Not sure what else is in the area, but I am in no rush to get back to this place.

This might be the largest beer store in all of NH in terms of quantity. They don't carry every beer available to NH but they carry most and generally have a ton, lots of 12 packs and cases. They have coolers along 2? sides of the store that hold singles, 4/6 packs, and macro. As has been stated before, freshness can be a bit of a problem and the store isn't always that clean or organized.
Service seems to be fairly standard, I don't usually get much in terms of greeting, assistance, or chatting.
Pricing is pretty standard although you can occasionally run into a great deal. I recently picked up a case of Treble Hook Barleywine for just $9.99!
It's not my go to store, but if I'm in the area I'll usually stop in a take a look.

This place was quite a surprise at first. From the outside, it looks like your typical convenience store that would probably have the usual craft beer selection (Shipyard has been advertised as the beer of the month for the last few months). Once inside, the beer selection is quite surprising. The entire left side of the store is full of wine, big bottles & a wall of 6/4-packs. They have a few fridges dedicated to big bottles and the entire back wall is also stocked with your usual domestics and a good selection of craft 6-packs as well.
Overall, for a beer store in NH this place has a great selection and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area & looking to make a purchase.

It's not much to look at from the outside. When I walk into it everything seems a bit congested. But I don't go into a beer store to admire the surroundings. I go in to buy beer.
Their selection is quite good, probably one of the best selections in the state. It is the only store in New Hampshire where I regularly find Beamish Stout. You can buy singles and mix and match. They price by the beer. You don't get a standard mix and match 6-pack price.
Some are refrigerated and some are not. If you maneuver your way around to the south side of the building to the door that leads into the storage cellar you will find a lot of orphan beers, often dust covered, sitting unorganized on a shelf. These are probably the leftovers from broken up six-packs.
But I don't think they throw anything out no matter how old it is. It is not uncommon to find a beer that is beyond its "best by" date and I have picked up the occasional seasonal beers from the previous season. Not that this is necessarily bad because many beers get better with age.
The service is so-so. They cash you out, bag your product and send you on your way. I have never experienced a friendly, chatty cashier.

Best place to get good beer in manchester, not having a car i am glad its close enough for me to walk to. good selection of stuff. they can get anything that is legal to get in NH. always check their selection every few weeks cuz i notice they get some new things. good slection of foreighn and micro brews and high end bombers. it can be abit pricey and if you know what kind of stuff you like then use this site to do research before you buy because the guy at the register isnt much help, he is from Nepal and i am sure doesnt drink. not being able to find prices is rather annoying so your best bet is to go there with like at least 20 bucks. some of my favorites, unibroue, sam adams , chimay, duvel, rogue, victory. ommegang, McEwans.

I find myself stopping by this place once every week or two. They always have a good variety of cheap beer like bud, coors, miller, etc, but also carry a good number of harder to find micro brews and imports. They have a good selection of Unibroue, Dogfish Head, Samuel Smith, Sierra Nevada, Smuttynose, etc. Stock seems to change with the season. If you feel like splurging a bit they also have a really good selection of large size specialty beers by Chimay, Rogue, and others. I recently bought a pint of Chimay Grand Reserve for $12. Definitely worth it. Also a plus, the owner lets you mix your own 6 packs with whatever is in stock. They scan the bottles individually in this case, but it is still a lot cheaper than trying new beer at a bar (usually around $11 or $12 for a 6 pack of higher quality beer).

For a little convenience store on Elm street this place is packed with beer. Good place for getting kegs as well. They will also special order anything that is available in NH if they don't carry it. Normally in stock are the local to New England breweries, but many foreign bottles as well.
I often stop here on my way to friends places or parties and often walk out with way more then I intended to buy. With the selection they have everything just calls to you.
It is owned by a very friendly middle eastern couple and is family run. Most of the prices are reasonable for the bottles. The kegs are a little bit on the pricey side.

This is on my way home from work, so I shop there often. This little convenience store probably has the largest selection of beer available in Manchester. Its a great selection by NH standards that is, maybe 100 - 200 labels. Most of the area microbrews are available with some regional and nationals represented too. Last trip they had bombers of Rogue, Smuttynose, Ommegang, Unibroue, Lindemans, Harpoon, Duvel, Sam Smith Right now they have a large selection of fall brews Lots of Ocktoberfest and Pumpkins available.
They also have lots of kegs in stock if thats your thing.
Not the biggest slection by any means and not the least expensive, but you'll always find something tasty inside.

I admit, I am a beer newbie. I have only been drinking micro brews seriously for the past three months or so, but I've been enjoying every sip of my new-found hobby. That is why I am extremely excited to have found this fine establishment very close to my home in Hooksett (just north of Manchester).
I went in hoping to find some Unibroue Maudite, and what I found far surpassed my expectations. This place has the biggest selection I've seen in central New Hampshire. Other reviewers have done a better job listing off their selections, so I won't bother.
The owners seem to be an Indian couple who were very pleasant. The only downside is the prices are a bit high, but you get what you pay for.
I can't recommend this store enough. I know I will be returning for many future purchases.

The BEST place in Manchester to buy beer, supermarkets might save you a dollar but there selection is lacking. Service is what it is, it's always been very friendly but don't expect too much help with beer related questions as the owners are not beer geeks, they are running a business and a good one at that. Recent brewers/beers I've seen : Ommegang,Unibroue,Sam Smith,Dogfish Head, Duvel, Lindemans, Smuttynose, Rogue, Cisco, Tuckerman,Buzzards Bay ect. If you're going to stop a one store in the Manchester area, this should be it, easily accessible right in the heart of downtown.
