Point Belgian White pours a very bright straw yellow and it is slightly cloudy. The head is white, with below average body and retention.

The smell is slightly spicy, with coriander dominating it. Although some other sweet and fruity notes can be picked up on.

Its taste is relatively light on the front. The mid palate gets into the spicy/coriander notes as well as some lemon zest. On the finish there is a little left over sweetness, but in general it is pretty light and crisp.

The mouthfeel is light, with moderate carbonations.

Point Beligian White is really drinkable, it is light and crisp both on flavor and mouthfeel. It would be very easy to have as a session beer. Although, there is an awkward aftertaste but that is consistent with the style.

Overall, this is an average beer. I have tasted a couple of other beers from this brewery, and that seems to be the theme. It will never be confused with a West Coast brewery nor a brewery trying to do something "outside the box." With that said they are good beers, and worth a try over any macro or macro made beer.

Beer poured from bottle into a Weizen style glass

A - Beer pours with a half finger size head; white color, slightly bubbly; not much lacing at all; transparent straw body color

S - Slight lemon and sour smell; vinegar; sweet; spices

T - Sour lemon and vinegar taste; not much malt; back end flavor is sweeter - sugary; flat flavor

M - Flat beer flavor and feel; much sweeter than I expected; watery

D - Overall, taste and feels like a summer drink; not much to this beer; brewers could have done a better job of adding more body along with

This pours a pale amber color with not much of a head on it. The aroma has a little bit of spice to it, probably from the coriander otherwise just a little yeast. The taste is pretty decent with the standard U.S. mock Belgian taste deemed Witbier. It also a nice lingering flavor from the orange peels. Very drinkable and decent tasting that makes for a flavor yet lighter summer drinking beer.
