'10 Bottle.
Quite the gusher. Pours a hazy straw with a silky beige head. Nose has sweet candy malts, floral and piney hops, musty barnyard funk and some peppery spices. Taste is nicely balanced. Good finish. Crisp, light body is well carbonated. Drinks well. Lasting bitter, hoppy finish. A nice dry acidity from the funk. Should age well.
I'd call this a funky Belgian IPA.

On cask at the Brazen Head, Brooklyn.
Poured a light copper hue with a half finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured a juicy citrus hop and a touch of sweet caramel.
The taste was toward the sweeter side of the style bit kept on check well by the hops.
The mouthfeel was toward the fuller side side of the style.
Overall a very nice ale. Very brawny for the style.

A very good interpretation of an American IPA. Poured out to a medium golden color with some haziness. Small head of white foam. Aromas of cascade hops and hop oils were powerful. Taste is totally hopped-out. Hops, hops, more hops, a touch of malt, grain, hops. Could easily be consitered for a DIPA. Mouthfeel was slightly oily due to the higher level of hops. Drinkability is good. Wish this was bottled and available in the area. Recommended.
