Had to make astop in while I was on vacation. This was a good store, best I found in my time there anyway. Great selection, including most every local brew as well as lots of imports. Some good Victory, and Terrapin of course. Not as big of a selection as the store in Greenville, and unfortunaly I left the day we Popped The Cap! so I do not know what kind of effect that will have on the store but I am sure it will have a positve effect on selection. Overall staff was pretty knowledgeable about showing you where to go, didnt really ask for recommendations. The price was reasonable, especially for the beach and if you pay cash. I would not quite say it is a must stop if you are there, unless you forget to bring your own with you.

This place is conveniently located close to a number of beach resorts off Business Rt 17. Parking lot is small and strangely designed for the limited space. One half of the building is for spirits and the other is for beer.
The beer selection is good for the area, but as others have stated, Piggly Wiggly in Market Commons beats this store for best area selection. Plenty of good beers like Rogue, Founders, Sierra Nevada, Bells, New Belgium, Charleston Brewing, Victory, and a decent Belgian selection. Different prices for cash or charge so beware.
Help was basically non-existant, as the only workers seemed to be working the cash register.

Standard liquor and beer store with a decent selection of individual bottled beers, every bottle that had a date was fresh that I looked at and this seemed to be one of the better sources for local SC micros had a nice mix of them. As well as the lower abv Belgians a slew of German wheat beers, and other lower in alcohol English ales due to the six percent abv cap in the state of SC. Selection as a whole was pretty nice I only wish that WV would someday have beers like this in a liquor store. Younger guy working was helpful in tending to my questions and helping me grab a keg from the back so I give this place a good score on that department.

Located close to the beach, on the main road near the beach front hotels on the north side of MB.
Above average selection. Several large cooler sections in the back of the store with sixers. Very nice selection of bombers, with high grav separated out against the wall between the booze side and the beer side of the store (welcome to SC!).
Picked up SN CF&K and Stone 14th, both nice finds and reasonably priced.
Not a huge store and a lot of macro product chews up floor space, but you will find a good representation of beers available in SC.

OK, I'm sure part of the strange experience here was caused by the strange laws many southern states still retain - but this is a quirky little place. Divided down the middle, one side is liquor, one is beer and wine, and you have to leave the building to go between them. Seemed to be a decent selection of beer, but the only other spots I found in the area selling beer were grocery stores. Another strange thing I haven't seen many other places - 2 prices, one for cash and one for credit?! I didn't even think that was allowed. Anyways - it was a nice place to pick up beer while on vacation, but I'm glad it isn't my only option. They also had some policy of photographing anyone under 25 - so this made for a nice wait to check out with a group of college kids in front of us.

A fair selection at this Green's location and it's probably the closest "good beer" store to the beach.
Founders, New Holland, Voctory, Rogue, Highland and more. Lots of Belgians, Germans and British ales. A fair selection. But it's a huge disappointment after being a regular customer at the two Green's stores in Atlanta. The selection is good but not great. The Piggly Wiggly out by the airport has a far better selection.
Quality of the beers purchased was good and the service was polite but I only needed a checkout.Prices were fair.
Not bad, worth a stop if you don't have time to drive out to the airport.

Found my way to Green's based on reviews and recommendations from BA. It was a busy store on a Tuesday night but they moved the people through relatively quickly. Nice selection, lots of imported singles, domestic local single rack was pretty well picked over and could not mix a six. No dust was present on the bottles and it looks like they move their stock. Nice six pack selection, warm and cold. Also carried a nice selection of wine and go-withs. Other side of store has liquor. A nice store overall.

Coming from Atlanta, I've gone to Green's in Myrtle expecting it to be the best place to buy beer on the strand - it was an utter disappointment.
Very convenient location in Myrtle, but a bit of a haul from where I stay up near North Myrtle. Typical SC setup with beer on one side - the selection was rather disappointing. I didn't expect it to be as good as CBX, which seems to be the benchmark in South Carolina, but its not even as good as the Greenville or Columbia Green's -- ie, Terrapin, but no side projects. A decent amount of New Belgium and other stuff. Weak belgian selection IMO but that seems to be somewhat common in SC stores. No real quality issues, probably average at best.
If you *need* service, good luck. Green's isn't typically a place one goes to for sommelier-like guidance, and this location holds true to that standard at least.
Its an ok store - you'll be able to find beer you want, but I think I'd get excited just seeing Maharaja there. Recommended, but only due to thin competition.

very close to ocean blvd and all the hotels right on the beach just head north on kings hwy and is on the right hand side it is open on sundays..the place has a liquor store on the left and a beer store on the right..nothing special about this store except that if you need a quick fix for craft beer for the hotel room and dont want to drive to market common this is the closet place in central MB area for you..decent selection of sixers and bombers..@ a reasonable price..you will find something here to quench your craft palate

Decided to stop by this place while visiting Myrtle Beach with the family. The layout of the place is fairly typical of most SC stores; beer on one side and liquor on the other.
The service is non-existant, the cashier is just that... a cashier, he didn't seem to know anything at all about the beers, and really didn't seem as though he cared. He was friendly enough, but not overly helpful.
The selection is decent for the area, but is far from stellar. Lots of the standard stuff you would expect, but nothing special.
Overall, this is not a bad place to stop and pick up a sixer, but there is definately room for improvement
