Pours brown with a large, fading head.
Nose shows nutty, toasty and light roasty notes. Faint cocoa too, along with soft spicy hops. Somewhat restrained.
Similar nutty and toasty malt as flavours. The spicy hops follow through too. Very easy to drink.
Carbonation seems just a little full on.

Smell - slight roasty grain and milk chocolate
Taste - Faint chocolate and roasty grain. Ever so slightly tart. Enough roasty to give it a back end that some browns lack but not so much to be distracting. Faint chocolate on the exhale.
Mouthfeel - somewhat carbonate-y on the tongue, a tad more than I want. With these chocolatey flavors, I'd like something a little more viscous. Ends dry on the tongue.
Overall - This is really nice. Possibly my new favorite brown. Like almost every other Nogne O beer I've had, everything is perfectly balanced, with the exception of the slight carbonation feeling on the tongue.

A: Pours a dark, murky brown with a thick, puffy tan head.
S: Aromas of spicy, bready malt, cola, dark fruits, and roasted nuts are present on the nose. This ale is a bit hoppier than many English-style brown ales, but seems to lack aromas of leathery, earthy English ale hops.
T: Enters in a lively fashion, presenting notes of cola, earthy hops, leather, dark bread, black cherry, black currant, blackberry, bitter chocolate, roasted nuts, minerals, and coffee. The finish is lively and roasty with coffee, dark fruit, mineral, and chocolate notes particularly noticeable.
M: Medium bodied, crisp, and dry. This is a wonderful session ale that does not sacrifice depth of flavor for drinkability.
O: As usual, I am impressed by this brewery. I've yet to encounter a bad product from the team here. This ale blows most authentic English brown ales out of the water.

Toasty, zesty, fruity, creamy, delicious.
___
A: Very dark slightly hazy reddish brown body with a persistent one finger light khaki head.
S: Fruity (apricot and plum), spices (cinnamon), and zesty, earthy hops. Creamy malt holds up the bottom.
T: Sweet, creamy, toasty malt takes a deliciously dominant position, followed by the earthy, zesty, spicy hops from the nose. Fruit takes the back seat, but is very much alive, fattening up the midrange. A great balance.
M: Slightly on the thinner side, but for the ABV it's positively gargantuan. Texture is very fine grained, velvety and smooth while still being gritty enough to stick on the tongue.
O: One of the most full and flavorful beers per AVB that I have yet encountered.

Look: Very dark brown with red traces all over 1/4 inch head and no retention
Smell: Coffee and chocolate notes not much else
Taste: Upfront is a funky yeast character backed up by traditional brown ale characters. A bit thrown off by the yeast character
Mouthfeel: A bit thin and mildly carbonated
Overall: Not very impressed with the beer. I just could not get past the flavor to truly enjoy the beer
