Notes:
Crisp and clean, our flagship lager is a golden coloured beer brewed in the tradition of its continental cousins. Using Canadian pale barley, our brewers craft this beer by infusing the malt wort with only the finest aromatic noble hops. After a controlled fermentation with our Danish yeast strain, the beer is chilled and aged until being cold filtered prior to kegging or bottling. The finished product is a very clean and well-balanced hoppy beer without the astringent bitterness of some other European styled lagers. This Blonde is 100% all natural. If you don't believe us, just look under the cap.

4th Review on BA
473mL can to bolleke globlet
Purchased at a downtown Toronto LCBO for $2.65
App- The appearance is a pale gold color, a little darker than I expected from a blonde. The head dissipated quickly with minimal lacing.
Smell- A nice and crisp malt character, slight floral notes hide behind larger more prominent wheat counterparts.
Taste-A nicely balanced lager, the crispness of citrus sits well between a light malt character and a more recessed bitterness of hops. The taste left lingering in the mouth has a very slight astringency but is nonetheless present. The Amsterdam Natural Blonde Lager seemed to fair slightly better fresh out of the fridge in that regard--being generally more of a general wheat flavor.
Mouth-In the mouth it seems rather filling for so light a beer. There is a hint of oily-ness which is pleasant rather than off-putting but it does seem to retract from the crispness of the beer.
Drink-definitely better when sipped at a colder temperature. It probably wouldn't hurt being "too cold" for a lager and letting it get better as it warms. Rather that it's too cold and warms to the right place than start drinking it at the optimal temperature and have it warm to an undesirable place. Although, if you aren't taking the considerable time to construct a review while drinking it--the warming effect might not even be an issue. For the price-point and despite a very subtle astringent character; it's worth checking out.

Poured from a tall can into a pilsener glass.
Pale yellow (blonde) colour, very little head, dissipates quickly but lots of carbonation still evident.
Smell of grass and fairly evident hops.
Refreshing drink, again the carbonation is apparent and gives it a sharp feel in the mouth but its actually a pretty clean finish. Only a slight aftertaste.
Nothing wrong with this beer, just not particularly memorable, fine for a hot afternoon.

Pours a clear, light golden colour with decent white head, but no overwhelming body. Crisp aroma has more malt-evidence than many "Euro lagers", but still fits within the genre. Flavour is a crisp lager - some malt evidence - but a very clean finish and no aftertaste.
Not my personal favouritee, but believe it to be a better choice within the style-type than many imports.

12oz Bottle
Appearance – Clear yellow colour with an average size fizzy white coloured head. There is a high amount of carbonation showing and there is an average amount of lacing. The head lasted for only a short while.
Smell - Grains, bread, floral
Taste & Mouth - The beer has a high amount of carbonation. I can taste breads/grains mixed with some floral notes and a slight hint of citrus. It also had a bit of a breadiness to it. It ends with a slightly bitter grainy aftertaste.
Overall – There is just something not right about this beer.. I can't put my finger on it, but it there is an odd musty taste to it. Not something I'll have again.
