A: Orange Pale Ale with no head
S: Minimal hop - yeasty with a fruity/orange thing going on.
T: Decent Hop - lots of grapefruit. Good.
M: Hop bitterness, good carbonation - nothing crazy good here.
D: I would order again.
Great bar - good selection for a small place. This beer is a good representation of some of the best they have to offer.

This creation just came out of the vats on Tuesday 7/8/08 according to the fine gents tending stick at the Radio City Heartland where I downed three of these beauties with some college buddies. The menu stated that extra hops were added every ten minutes during the brewing to add an extra kick.
A: Poured into a goblet with opage amber hue with orange accents. Thick 1 fingers bubbly head at first but then drops down to a line and the carbonation capping the cover. Prolonged lacing with nice rings as well as falling strings.
S: Hops lead the show without a doubt. Floral accents somewhat but mainly just hops.
T: Follows the nose initially with the roasted hop blast, but then a surprising and wonderful sweet creamy finish. The bartenders were not sure of the extra ingredients, but I would proffer there is cloves and perhaps some candys, bubblegum perhaps. This was my firs American Double/Imperial Pale Ale so combo taste has made me a fan.
M: Medium to heavy with carbonation not overpowering yet keeping the flavors in the front of your pallet.
D: Simply delicious. The high abv is not noticeable at all and the beer mellows somewhat with the hoppyness as it warms, but again, the sweet finish is a perfect compliment. I would have to say this is one of Heartlands best creations.
