Part of a mixed 12 pack. Brewed with barley malt and wheat malts. 1.044 OG, 16 IBU, 4.39% ABV.
Pours out to a sparkingly clear medium golden, forming a tall creamy white head with excellent retention and lacing. Medium-brisk carbonation, ~3.0 carbs. The nose is interesting...although not mentioned as an ingredient on their website, I distinctly smell coriander, and it's not subtle. Mouthfeel is watery, crisp, clean with a light body. The taste is very mild...a delicate pale malt base with some table cracker wheat and the coriander. Their yeast strain is peculiar...I've noticed this odd-fruitiness in 3 of their beers...I'm guessing it's Nottingham. Definitely not Cali ale yeast. Medium light bitterness. Powdery finish.
A decent summer thirst quencher, but I'm not inclined to buy it again.

Pred from a 12oz can into a room-temp pint glass.
A- medium golden color with a fluffy white 2-finger head that slims down to a film leaving a sticky ring of lacing. Bubbly. This pours like it's going to be filmed for a TV ad.
S- Light grain and malt aroma. There is some note of wheat malt and pale malt.
T- It is a malty blonde ale through and through, with just enough IBUs to temper the sweetness.
M- Light and crisp, easy drinking and good carbonation. Sweet to start, dry on the finish, nice balance.
O- BMC missed out because this is the light, drinkable, everyday beer that they claim to make. The difference is that BluePoint Summer Ale is good, for real. P.S. I drank this all summer long right from the can, now, on the first day of fall, I poured one into a pint glass for the review. Good stuff.

Appearance - Pours a clear, dark golden color with an inch thick, creamy white head. Leaves a nice, creamy lacing.
Smell - Sweet, very malty, and grains.
Taste - Has a subtle sweetness, pale malts, very grainy, bready, and has somewhat of a metallic flavor.
Mouthfeel - Light bodied with high carbonation.
Overall - This is a good beer. Nice and crisp.
