Pours clear orange-amber with a large frothy, foamy off-white head. The aroma is pure hops... grassy and earthy. The taste is both subtley sweet and dry in almost perfect balance... the hops are very present, but not overwhelming, and not very bitter at all. I suggest pouring into a wide-mouth glass, like a British pint glass, so you can get your nose into it as you drink to soak up the hop aroma.

All in all, an enjoyable brew... not a big beer, but a well-crafted enjoyable beer that has good balance, some complexity, but is approachable and drinkable for those times when you want a good lager with real flavor... a lager that might even win over your "lite-beer" drinking friends.

A very interesting brew. Poured a light golden tan with a medium size head. There really wasnt any obvious bouquets, aromas, smells that I could detect with this one.
I bypassed sniffing this one and went right to tasting it. It was light and very refreshing but also had an extra 'hit' of being alive!
Couldnt place any spice or hop or anything else on this one, except that there was something there!
The best thing I liked about this beer was that it was very refreshing, young , alive and kept my mouth wanting to have another sip. Now that is pretty good

12oz bottle in a tulip glass.

A-As advertized, reddish-brown color with white a 1-finger head. Bubbly, clean, and carbonated. It looks like a red lager should.

S-Mild malt aroma with some subtle notes of red wine.

T- Dry and toasted (roasted) malt, lightly breaded.

M-Good body for a lager, well carbonated . Clean dry finish.

O- All around decent lager, worth a look.
