Poured into a Weisse Glass
Appearance: Pours a cloudy, amber brown. From an aggressive pour, the head is strong and foamy. The head will dissipate over time, but a ring remains and some light foam on top of the beverage. Lacing on the edges of the glass are present.
Smell: Deep, sweet, and full of wheat aromas. The sweet smell is apparent when one is drinking this brew, but it is not overpowering. This is quite pleasant to just smell.
Taste: Sweet and full of wheat. The aftertaste is sweet at first, and then the wheat taste takes over. There is no bitterness to this beer.
Mouthfeel: Not thick. The beer is slick as it travels down one's throat. It does not have the oily texture of macrobrews, even though it is not as thick as an ale or stout. There is body to this, and it is not intrusive.
Drinkability: Quite drinkable. I could enjoy many of these in one session. It quenches the thirst, and is not so thick that it fills one up. Enjoyable, and I would have more.
Overall, this reminds me of Franziskaner Dunkel, although the Franziskaner is better.

Enjoyed a 20 oz serving on 9-24-22 at The Yardhouse in Greenville, SC for $9.49.
Beer was served dark brown with a nice off-white head.
Nose was of lightly roasted sweet malts.
Taste was a lightly roasted malt base that was slightly sweet, but hopping was nicely done the correct residual sweetness i look for in the style.
Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied and very soft and velvety.
Overall a nice representation of the style!
