Fantastic. Quick note about this beer, The freshness date on my bottle says 04.06....HAH! Hardly, this beer tastes fresh and bubbly and all around great. I guess this is one of those beers that gets better with age. I bought this off the shelf to boot, no fridge. Amazing.
Poured out a rich caramel color with a thick chunky head. Head disapated entirely by about halfway through. But the carbonation stuck around, every time I set the glass down, a new school of bubble erupted in the glass. Smells of caramel, sweet and malty. Creamy mouthfeel. No bitterness for a darker beer, though it is wheat, I was expecting some, just because of how dark it is.
Loved this beer, would and will buy it again. I hope to find a bottle with a recent freshness date so I can see what this tastes like when its young. For how old this bottle was, I was already amazed at the test, I just wonder if its even better when its fresh.
Mike.

Enjoyed a 20 oz serving on 9-24-22 at The Yardhouse in Greenville, SC for $9.49.
Beer was served dark brown with a nice off-white head.
Nose was of lightly roasted sweet malts.
Taste was a lightly roasted malt base that was slightly sweet, but hopping was nicely done the correct residual sweetness i look for in the style.
Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied and very soft and velvety.
Overall a nice representation of the style!
