Poured from a 12 oz. bottle...
A- Pours a golden straw color with a thick white head that eventually thins to a few millimeters thick. Carbonation is that of sparkling wine, lines of tiny bubble rising quickcly to the surface.
S- At first, the scent is malt, sweet and almost honeyed in a way. It follows up with a crisp, but slight hop aroma.
T- Upon the first sip, the taste is malty, with hints of honey. There is a slight grassy, yet citrusy character in the middle, followed by a crisp, dry hop finish.
M- It's there, then it isn't. Light to medium bodied, the beer slides along the palate as it goes down.
D- I found this beer to be rather tasty, and easy to drink. It's definitely a session brew. It was surly worth the try, and I would drink it again if I was in the mood for it.

Pint at Katzenjammers.
A: Golden, clear, medium head, good lacing.
S: Munich style malt, apple.
T: Honey, Munich malt, apple. Seemed a bit more subtle than other stronger Helles style beers.
M: Crisp texture, well carbonated, slightly coarse edge from the carboantion.
O: Good palate cleasner, refreshing and a good alternative to Augustiner.

A - Bright, clean gold. Inviting bubbles, a very active crown of white lager foam. Looks like a great golden lager from first sight.
S - Noble hops, crisp, golden notes of biscuity malt. Sweet, honey-like. Smells similar to a pilsner but less sharp.
T - Delicious! smooth flavor, also similar to a pilsner, but with a round malty balance behind it all. Very balanced, very intriguing.
M - light and drinkable, not too carbonated. Thicker than a pilsner, but still feels similarly refreshing.
O - The best thing I can compare this to is a pilsner with an emphasis on balance. Same charms, but less hop-oriented and more well-rounded. A surprisingly delicious lager.

A- straw yellow with a finger of white head. phenomenal lacing
S- clean malt with barely a hint of hops. not much there
M- chewy texture with nice level of carbonation. very thick for the style
T- hops are aggressive and are present throughout. hops are spicy and grassy. considering the level of hops, it's still a fairly malty beer. finishes slightly dry.
O- a classic battle between hops and malt. i'm glad neither came out too dominant; this is really a beer to behold.

Pours a clear golden with a nice malty aroma. Tastes refreshing and pure with just the right amount of hops and maltiness. No adjunct or off-flavors detected. Quenches thirst, but has a nice backbone; superlative dinner beer. Not a complex tsunami of taste, but this style is not designed for that. An excellent choice for playing music, telling stories and drinking all night.
This beer has the flavor I taste on my mind's tongue when I reminisce about travels through Germany.

Clear gold, large diminishing fizzy white head. Smells sweet - honey and plastic, like many Canadian shitty lagers. Taste is simple, and honey-sweet, but floral and grassy with no crappy adjunct flavours - pretty nice, really. Light, mildly syrupy body, decent carbonation and a quick finish - very summery and drinkable.
