Bright golden copper colored body with great clarity and a nice creamy white head on top, albeit a bit thin.

Nice fresh malt aroma with biscuity grains and hints of caramel sweetness. Light touch of hops as well.

Malty on the palate with lots of husky grain flavors and a bit of sweeter caramel malts as well. Hops add a light herbal note and minimal bitterness.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a smooth texture and a crisp finish. Overall, Hacker-Pschorr makes some of my favorite Bavarian beers but the Oktoberfest just doesn't stand out. It's a good beer but not my favorite for the style.

Copper colored. Clear. White fizzy head fades to a ring after a minute. Looks promising.

Aroma is nice, but not very strong. Roasted grain character. Slight hops.

A dry grainy flavor dominates. A slightly spicy, earthy hop flavor comes through. I was hoping for more sweetness.

Average mouthfeel for my taste. A little on the thin and highly carbonated side with a sweet and dry finish.

This is better than most of the German Oktoberfests I've tried. I prefer more body and sweetness, but I would drink this again.
