This establishment is very different from the Brixx downtown. Firstly, it seems to be more of a neighborhood pizza joint/restaurant than a beer bar. We went on Saturday evening and the place was packed with older couples, young couples with children and cops on there dinner break. No one was having a beer except me. They had 10 beers on tap. I remember seeing the ubiquitous Guinness, Newcastle, SNPA, Blue Moon, Highland Gailic ale, Pyramid Hefe and Sam Adams. The bottle selection was horrible. They had all the BMC stuff(premium and light versions), Chimay white(11.2 oz) and Victory Golden Monkey. That was it. Service was OK and the food was better, which was the only positive thing about this place. I had a chicken sandwich on foccacia bread that was excellent. My cousin had a artichoke pizza that she said was very good also. Honestly, I don't think this Brixx should even be in BA. The bartender even mentioned to me that the downtown location takes their beer selection very seriously, but this one did not. If you're looking for just pizza, this place is great. If quality beers and pizza is what you want, head over to the Mellow Mushroom down the street or go to Brixx Uptown.

So I'm a college student in Wilmington, but my hometown's Charlotte, and this place is right next to my house. Been going here since long before I was allowed to booze, and I fell in love initially with the Barbecue Chicken pizza. It was gorgeous sailing from there.

Where to begin. Perhaps not the greatest selection, but certainly not chopped liver. Had some dogfish head in bottles, and some local Red Oak on tap.

Really, the thing that keeps me coming back is the barbecue pizza. but the beer's solid too.

Ok this is easily the worst of all the Brixx I have gone to. I normally do not mind these places in a pinch but this one just has to go. The food itself is not that bad, actually thought the pizza was better then most of the places I had been to, however the selection here is pitiful. I have been to Brixx that have 30-50 taps, this one 10 and none were even good, I have seen a Chilis with a better selection, the bottles, nothing good at all. I would not go back here, no way. Would rather get some Dominoes and stop at the store. The staff was nice enough and it is not there fault that the owners aren't trying. Good little pizza place, bad destination though.

So we were actually looking fo a mellow mushroom but the one we were looking fo was closed and now a cingualr store. So the as the Crown Plaza shuttle driver struggled with any recommendations, we saw this place and asked to be droped off.

Just your average psuedo-chic wannabe atmosphere, you know, metal barstool, colorful, halagon lights.

As far as quailty goes, the bartender was cute in an inkedup greaser kinda-way. The food was good and the beers were as expected.

Service from our tatted cutie was also pleasant and attentive.

Food was as expected, I had a buffalo chicken pizza that was quite good. Nothing to get to exceited about though

Selection was not that good. ten taps-guinness, harp, hogarten, blue moon, SNPA, Victory Prima Pils, sam and sam seasonal. Almost nothng I was interested in. Down the end I did see Rogue dead guy but I didn't go for it. Bottle selection was a also quite poor. They had a few belgians-the ubiquitous chimay and suprising Roqufort 8. But the one thing that struck my fancy was the Terrapin Rye squared. I ahd one of these and had to go to a standby from my neck of the woods, Hop Devil

Prices were fine
