Different label...more of a skeleton in pirate attire.
Pours a light gold with small head.
Aroma of sweet malt and light grassy hops, fresh bread dough.
Moderate carbonation and mild mouthfeel.
Flavors of light malts, grassy hops, light citrus and a little bite in the finish. For the style it's decent, not exceptional but not offensive. Certainly more flavor than a Bud-Miller-Coors!

A: Light orange to amber. No head, no lace.
S: Mild grapefruit smell. A little candy. A little grain.
M: Really sweet remainder on the tongue. Little foam. Bitter takes a moment to appear. Makes a bit of a circle around the mouth. Watery.
T: Light pale ale flavor. No sweetness and mildly bitter. Grapefruit as well as juicy fruit are the slights. A little Trix flavor from the grain. Felt the alcohol just a bit.
O: Not bad, but kind of average for an APA with a little more bite to stand out.

Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance – Pours a lightly hazed golden color with a half finger white head. The head fades fast to give light lacing and a spotty foam on the top of the brew.
Smell – The aroma is bready with some sweeter tropical fruit aromas of tangerine and mango as well as some peach smell. Overall it is bready and sweet. Quite nice.
Taste – The taste begins very differently then would have been anticipated from the nose. While there is plenty of fruit aromas in the nose there are almost none in the tongue and in fact after the initial taste, which contains a light sweetness, the brew is rather dry. It begins with strong flavors of a bready nature. Soon some lighter hop flavors come to the tongue. These are largely of an earthy nature, but also contain some flavors of a herbal nature as well. These hop flavors grow stronger and more bitter as the taste advances to the end, leaving a rather dry and bitter flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The beer is on the thinner and crisper side with a carbonation level that is just above average, with both being rather nice for the drier and bitter flavors of the brew.
Overall – A fairly decent APA. The nose deceived me quite a bit however as I was expecting (and kind of hoping for as the nose smelled quite nice) something with a bit more sweetness. It was a little bit unbalanced with its bitter hop and bready taste without much sweet. Even with this said, it was alright and rather easy drinking beer.
