A. Pours dark brown, slight amber color when held to light.

S. Slightly hoppy with a subtle hint of chocolate.

T. Very well balanced flavor, very noticeable chocolate malt taste, but not overpowering.

M. No bitter aftertaste, slightly sweet. A smooth chocolate flavor lingers.

D. Extremely smooth for a darker style Alt ale.

The first beer I've had from this style. The smell is bready and malty. Taste has hints chocolate and coffee. Very smooth in the mouth. Goes down really easy. This is a tasty brew that Oktoberfest fans could enjoy. This beer has a ton of flavor which was a little unexpected.

Appearance: Poured a very dark walnut. Has a heavy malt and caramel nose, very nice. A very smoth drinkable beer. This is a tasty treat and you will want to drink more that one.

I would like to try this beer on draft at about 55º to see all of the other flavors that would come out.

A. The beer pours a very deep dark yet clear brown with a two finger creamy tan head which fades to nice lacing

S. It has a nice light roasted and chocolate aroma with a subtle caramel sweetness, very nice

T. taste combines a roasted malt backbone with some dark fruits, and a hint of bitter chocolate and coffee with something nutty lurking way in the back.

M. good carbonation with a mouthfeel between thin & medium, finishes quickly.

D. very smooth and very drinkable, could drink a few of these no problem
