After throwing down quads and other dark Belgians all winter and spring and steady intermingling cases of ayinger Oktoberfest in-between, I have to throw on my Costas and Sperrys and unwind with the finest damn island hoppin beer of all time.. No not you, corona.
I can not be hater here. This is a very good Meixcan beer. This beer is godd with pizza , mexican food or any spice foods. It is close second to Corona Extra!
Apperance- Golden with a fizzy white head an a minimal lacing. Like a adjunct lager.
Smell- Some grains,corn, and hops.
Taste- Hasa light flavor, clean flavor with some after taste. I t was very good good balance and mild mild bitterness on the back end whic i did not care for.
Mouthful-Carbonation that doesn't fade and moderate dryness.
Overall- This is a Great beer for the Summer! It rrank high beer compared to others in its class, Pacifico is head and shoulder above the rest.. I will be drank this beer for the summer and many summers to come! Thank you Grupo Modelo in makeing another great beer!

Obviously not a craft beer, but this one brings back some good memories of the SoCal coast when I was traveling out there. This seemed to be the beer of choice at most of the boardwalk and beach bars. Good times. So, good times deserve a good or better rating. Is it great? No. But if I'm coming off one of those all day surf sessions where the summer sun reflects off the water and cooks ya, rocked out at the gym and need a refresher, just finished sweatin' my 'nads off cuttin' grass...I'm crackin' a Pacifico brah! Smooth goin' down, refreshing taste, crisp finish.

Pours a clear yellow with a foamy off-white head that fades to nothing. No lacing on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, and some fruity aromas. There is a bit of a skunky aroma that comes out more as the beer warms up. Taste is much the same with a sweet corn flavor on the finish. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty poor beer that is skunky and sweet which is never a good combination for anything.

Ah, another Mexican beer that just doesn't cut it for me.
Had this one at a restaurant I was eating at while on travel for work. The beer poured a nice shade of gold, decent head, no lacing. The smell was nothing but your typical malt and barley, with lots of carbonation sloshing between the gums. It's taste was a bit metallic, not bitter, just not quite right. I'll give it an average rating, since I would be willing to try another one given a chance.

12oz bottle from Vonns Palm Springs CA for 1$
Appearance - Clear gold colour with an average size fizzy white coloured head. There is an average amount of carbonation showing and there is some faint acing. The head lasted for 3-4 minutes.
Smell - Breads/grains, corn
Taste & Mouth - There is an average amount of carbonation and I can taste corn mixed with some bread and grains. There is also some light hops and some grass and a skunkiness. It ends with acorn/husk grainy adjunct aftertaste.
Overall - Not good.. I'd take a Corona over this any day, and that's not saying much. There is just way too much corn syrup type taste going on. It tastes like it was made with very cheap ingredients.

12 oz into pint glass
The fizzy white head has disappeared by the time I sit down to fully analyze this brew. It is light orange with carbonation bubbles hurriedly ascending to the surface. It smells of corn, straw, bread, and alcohol. Perhaps a touch of grassy hops graces the aroma, but more likely it is just adjunct grains. The high carbonation obscures most of the minuscule flavor; the rest is inaccessible because of the cold temperature at which I choose to consume this Mexilager. To drink this beer warmer is not an option, as the taste would certainly be far too foul. Some alcohol is perceptible, which is a surprise for such a low-acohol beer. I reason that this is because there is little other flavor to mask the ethanol.
Thus it tastes like what it is: highly carbonated alcohol-water, with a few cheap grains thrown in to add color. The mouthfeel is thin and fizzy. A touch of sweet, some macro piss, and mild burn are watered down rather that compensated with full malts. Even some breadiness would help. Shoot, I could even handle more adjuncts just to provide a little bit of substance.

Lived in Mexico for a couple of years and was very happy when this (at the time) West Coast Beer made it east to Mexico CIty. Not expensive, not rich body, just a great blonde beer. I pick some up periodically in the States and I. Really enjoy just soaring its taste. Not a heavy beer but rich tasting. Huh unusual. They do something right. A great beer at a reasonable price and never gives you that bloated/sinking feeling. Keep making it available. I will keep drinking it.

Mexican beer is kind of a guilty pleasure for me. Growing up in San Diego, this is what we drank when we were younger, especially since we didnt have any money. Plus, it was readily available in TJ and Ensenada. The flavor brings back those memories.
Pacifico is my Mexican beer of choice. I love it on a hot day and when eating some good Mexican food. Founders brews are not meant for Mexican food, but Pacifico is. That's how I roll and how I will continue to do so.
viva Pacifico!

A - Pours very clear yellow with a thin white head. Leaves no lacing.
S - Creamed corn and rice, along with a small amount of skunk and saltiness.
T - Lots of creamed corn up front, rice shortly followes along. With a mildly sour grainyness.
M - Light to medium body with medium to heavy carbonation.
O - Overall, It isn't bad for an adjunct and it makes a great palate washer, which is why I bought it.

You guys are ridiculous, this is absolutely the best mexican beer in existence. The smell reminds of the mexican breeze. This beer has the true flavor of a mexican beer. If you dont like mexican beers then dont drink it and dont complain. Maybe the reason none of ustedes like it is because none of you guys have any taste buds. Viva Mexico, Viva Pacifico.

A: Pacifico had light foam.
S: There was no aroma.
T: Pacifico had a light taste. Hints of barley and wheat.
M: There is decent carbonation in the beginning. Pacifico loses carbonation quickly. Smooth taste. People who drink beer quickly and enjoy smooth tasting beer should try Pacifico.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a pint glass.
A - Golden straw in color. Virtually no head
S - faintly smells of malts, some hops, slightly metallic and skunky
T - Not a ton going on here. slightly malty and slightly metallic tasting.
M - maybe a little over carbonated but a very light mouthfeel
Overall - I would say this beer is better than its peers such as Corona or Tecate, but nothing special going on here. Good beer for a 6 pack on a hot day at the beach.

Served in a shaker pint glass at Cafe Mexico, Kettering OH.
Appearance: Clear golden yellow with a slight dark tinge to it. White head died back to a thin skin across the top. Persistent thin lacing noted.
Smell: Typical lager - clean malt, grainy, but I couldn't pick out any corn or other smells. A little bit sweet.
Taste: Best when cold. Simple malt, a bit grainy, then crisp and dry finish. As it warmed up the finish got a tiny bit liked cooked veggies, but not bad.
Mouthfeel: Fizzy and a bit watery. Disappointing.
Overall / Drinkability: Overall, not bad with food, which was Pork enchiladas in this case. Otherwise nothing special. Drinkability - one is enough.

A= Pours a translucent pale yellow color with a thin skin of head on the top and little lacing.
S= Smells like beer. Not much in the name of hops or malt really just a bready fermented beer smell.
T= The taste is of beer. A small amount of almost a sour punch to it without being sour. A nice light flavor. Reminds me of most adjunct lagers only with less taste making it more drinkable manybe?
M= Feels bright and carbonated.
O= This isn't a bad beer for being an AAL. It actually tastes very much like nothing which I assume is what they were going for. Mission accomplished.

Poured this 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Poured a hazy straw color, produced a thin white head, poor retention, and leaves little to no lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of malted grain, cooked corn and fruit...grape?...Light in body, this brew featured a grain base, some grape or prune like fruitiness and finishes dry. Overall, its a lawnmower beer. Classic cheap Mexican version of an American Lager. Don't waste your time. Prost!

Part of a BEERS OF THE WORLD package. I had this one before during holidaying in Mexico, only from a can back then.
First things first, a long neck bottle of 355 ml, best before 2013, ABV at 4,5%, with only a front label. Ingredients are written in german on the label and except from the usual water, malts and hops, includes also rice and papain.
Once poured it gave me a golden yellow beer, with one finger of head, with an average retention. Head leaves a thin layer on top of the beer once gone, no lacing whatsoever though.Medium activity in the glass, in the form of bubbles.
The smell was quite sweet and mostly of malts. I can't really smell any rice grains, but at least it doesn't have the corn smell I had experienced when I drunk it from a can. Corn is also abscent from the taste, it's so much different from the one I had back there. This one has a sweet malty taste and is as easily drinkable as any other lager, with a very discreet bitter aftertaste.
Thin on the body with moderate carbonation. Dry on the palate.
To conlude, this was so much different from the one I had from a can, I would prefer it over Corona and Sol any given time.

Cheap yellow Mexican beer for a hot summer day. I am sweating as I write this on the porch. Decent head and golden body. Nose is basic mixed grains and adjuncts. Briefest whiff of hops.
Taste is unspectacular but inoffensive and it does have a certain refreshing factor. Like I said, basic Mexican lager. Better than Corona and Modelo Especial but not significantly in either case.

Light straw golden color, I piss darker than this. Extremely clarified and filtered and then clarified again. Only the head, which is initially presently, saves this from being a 1.
Has a ricey, grainy smell. Not sure anything else is present.
Simply awful. Tastes like dirty dish water.
It's sour, not even bitter, from the time it touches your lips til your stomach screams in horror at what's entering. There is a flowery feel to it, but that's it.
Just dreadful. Not sure I'm going to finish the whole thing. I feel for Mexicans that havce to drink the crap.

More flavor than any comparable Mexican beer. No skunk taste like Corona. This beer is what you take to a party. A lime goes a long way with this beer and makes it even smoother. Perfect golden color, pours smoothly. Not bitter at all. Even on draft and cans this is the mexican beer for everyone.

Served by the bottle at On the Border, South Portland Maine:
Into a pint glass:
A: clear light yellow body that barely had any head, perhaps just the width of a dime. Some light visible carbonation was seen rising.
S: combination of malts, corn, and rice.
T: wasn't anything different from the smell.
M: light and watery, carbonated correctly, sessionable
O: I made sure I didn't have the lime that the restaurant tried to give me. For the most part, I'd say probably better than other watery Mexican beers, however I'd probably only get this again in the Mexican atmosphere.

340ml bottle. (7500-5399 bar code).½ Pint glass. (From my notes). Bright golden color & crystal clear appearance. Brief crown, white in color. No lacing. Grainy, hints of honey & cooked corn hues to the nose. Flavor & mouthfeel are quite boring. Grainy, harsh & astringent sensation. Light body, watery texture. High carbonation. Thankfully off-flavors are not shown.

A: The beer is clear light yellow in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a thin white head that never completely faded away.
S: There are light aromas of adjunct malts in the nose—corn seems to stand out in particular.
T: Like the smell, the taste has flavors of corn from the adjunct malts and some hints of grain. Little, if any bitterness is noticeable.
M: It feels light-bodied and somewhat watery on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has a bit more flavor and body compared to other Mexican adjunct lagers but also benefits with the addition of a lime to mask the flavors of corn. It goes down very easily.

After throwing down quads and other dark Belgians all winter and spring and steady intermingling cases of ayinger Oktoberfest in-between, I have to throw on my Costas and Sperrys and unwind with the finest damn island hoppin beer of all time.. No not you, corona.
A- I cringe at the fact that I'm even pouring this is a glass that doesn't already contain V8, lime, and hot sauce because all other things aside, pacifico makes the best michelada (the only acceptable beer cocktail). In a pilsner glass it's clear light golden with a short fizzy white head and minimal lacing. No better or worse than any adjunct lager. In a bottle, it's brown with a happy yellow label and preferably dripping with little chunks of ice. Sometimes it wears an outer banks neoprene zip up pirate suit.
S- pale grains, maybe some corn, and a minute bit of grassy and floral hops. Miles away from the clear bottled corona and modelo, there's no skunk or off flavor, no tecate blandness, and almost as close to a pilsner as Bohemia. For what I want out of this beer, it is indeed good.
T- light flavor, clean flavor, better flavor. Among its peers it's at the head of the class. Once again not skunked, pleasant mild bitterness on the back end balances out the barely sweet grain flavor. No lime necessary.
MF- take that drinkable corona feeling and make it a hundred times better. Completely refreshing and thirst quenching with carbonation that doesn't fade out. Perfect moderate dryness.
D- I can't be a hater here. It might be a shitty beer compared to other styles but when you consider the class it's in, pacifico is the star. This year and probably for many years to follow, I'll be putting aside the clear bottles and gettin down with that golden anchor volcanic island lifesaver adorned with malt and hops. Give clara a chance. Not after labor day though..

A-Poured into a Pilsner glass. It pours a very weak straw yellow. In fact its so pale it looks almost like a light lager. Small fizzy white head that dissipates very quickly. No lacing or cascading.
S-Typical adjunct lager as it has a faint nose consisting of corn and malts with no real hop presence at all.
T-Malty with a little bitterness and a slightly skunky finish. The skunky bitter finish gives it a slight character which is nice.
M-Thin and watery with a little bit of carbonation.
D-Very drinkable given its not offensive and has a low abv.
Overall, this is a typical adjunct lager and Mexican lager. Nothing special but a nice change up when wanting to drink something and not think about it.
