Well, when you're stuck on an island (and by stuck, I know everybody but the year-round residents are practically giddy to be there, so I mean stuck with the few choices you have) a place like Seasons can be a BA's godsend. When you've worn down the tap handles at Offshore Brewery, then get a load of the fairly unexpected tap choices around the corner at Seasons.
It's a comfortable enough room, with nothing of note decor-wise beyond a nice mural of the Oak Bluffs waterfront. Harpoon IPA, Hoegaarden, Sierra Nevada pale, Shipyard Pumpkinhead, Magic Hat, Bass, two Sam Adams choices, Labatts, Fosters, and Guinness (as of 10/03) all prove that the place has made at least a passing attempt to have something for everyone beer-wise, and that's potentially enough to make it a BA destination on Martha's Vineyard. Two glass sizes are available, as are pitchers.
The food leans toward the things that can be created quickly from the very good: Spicy Peanut sauce for some fresh chicken fingers to the fair: a greasy fried quesadilla heavy on the cheese and light on anything else.
Service folk probably shouldn't be faulted for wishing they were someplace else on the island, and they probably have to put up with loads of people acting like people do when they're not being watched in their own hometowns. Even so, Seasons would be a more enjoyable place with a few more career waitstaff pleased to see you.
