Pours a nice honey color. It's very clear and well carbonated producing a big fat white head.
Aroma is spicy upfront with some light fruitiness.
Sweet and malty taste that mingles with a big alcohol taste.
Bread taste pulls up the rear.
Spicy and tart in the mouth with a big alcohol punch, thats big but also soft.
Better maybe on a crisp fall or spring day then on a hot summer day due to the high alcohol.

Deep golden yellow in color with excellent clarity. Poured with a thick off white foam that slowly reduced to a wispy cap. Grainy, bready malt aromas with sweet honey earthy herbal hops in the background. On the thicker side of medium bodied with a slighlty slick feel despite the assertive, rolling, yet refreshing carbonation. Herbal hop flavors at the beginning that taper through the middle. Earthy malt flavor from beginning to end with a touch of honey sweetness. Finishes cleanly with a light herbal bitterness.

A: Clear & golden, but with average head that fades without appreciable lacing.
S: Mild sweetness and grain, but I can't help thinking of fragranced soap.
T: Half a second of sweetness, but immediately it's replaced with a sharp bitterness of hops without any of the expected grain or fruit flavors. The finish had an unpleasant fatty acid taste.
M: Moist but not very well carbonated, and lacking crispness.
O: Even a bite of salty crackers between sips couldn't entice me to finish this one. A bad can? I don't know; but it ended with a drain pour. I doubt I'll try any of Lancaster's other offerings based on this unpleasant experience.

12 oz can. 02813 is the code on the bottom of the can.
A: no carb. golden/orange body. head is white, retention is decent, lacing is not.
S: sweet, a lotta honey, almost caramel flavor. yeah this thing really blasts you. all sweet, no balance.
T: starts sweet. more of unfermented grain than honey in flavor. virtually no hop bitterness besides a minor balancing act in regard to all this sweetness. a little bit of diacetyl on the finish.
M: carb is low. body is medium.
D: meh, a so-so bock. too sweet with a few imperfections. pass.

I had this on tap at the Harrisburg Location, enjoyed chilled in a nonic.
the color is deep golden with light haze and thick cream cap with micro bead and thick lace. The smell is very full with lots of sweet malt and perhaps a floral honey aroma which adds to the malt presence. The feel is good with slightly fuller feel and creamy body with modest carbonation and semi sweet finish with light spice.
The taste is excellent for the style with plenty of lager character and enough malt to be considered a bock without any question and the slightly sweet aspect the honey brings is nice with mild hops and gentle yeast which makes you think it is unfiltered. I enjoyed this but would probably on enjoy 1 per sitting since it is a filling beer with more sweetness than most in the lineup.

A- Transparent pale amber body with a bubbly off white head. Carbonation bubbles rise from the bottom of the pint glass and the head leaves some lacing.
S- Honey and lager yeast. Some grainy bread aromas come through as well. Definitely a lot of sweet aromas from the honey, but also some tree fruit aromas.
T- More bock-like flavors than I expected. The honey compliments, but does give this one a lot of sweetness. Some fruity flavors come through along with the grainy lager flavors. There are also some weird flavors that sneak through as well like unsweetened Rice Krispies. Overall all pretty good flavor though.
M- Medium bodied, crisp with medium carbonation. Very good.
O- Pleseantly surprised with this one. Great spring beer with nice bock flavors.
