A: The beer is jet black in color and poured with a thin mocha head that quickly died down and left a thin ring of bubbles on the surface around the edge of the glass.
S: There are very strong aromas of bourbon in the nose. The aroma is so intense that it can really awaken your senses like smelling salts.
T: Compared to the smell, the bourbon flavors are much more balanced and incorporated into the taste. There is also a bit of sweetness with notes of dark fruits and molasses in the flavors.
M: It feels full-bodied on the palate and has a light amount of carbonation. The finish is quite dry and has lots of warming from the alcohol.
O: The beer is one that needs to be slowly sipped considering its strength but the bourbon in the smell and taste will keep your palate interested for a very long time.
